Indoor What the hell am i doing wrong????!!!!!

i use gen. hydro flora line of nutrient. when i grow i use 3 gallon pots. when i flush the plants i use 9 gallons plain water with 2 tblsp. of clearex all give to the plant at one time. then i wait ten days n cure it for a week or two.when i used to use earth juice this would flush the plants just fine. now that i am using gen hydro after flushing n now curing for one week i still have some nutrient taste. do i need to cure longer or am i screwed?????!!!!!!!! i hate the taste of nutrients!!!!!!!! please help what am i doing wrong?????:

Dk I've never tasted nutes before. But id say its chlorophyll your tasting. How long u been curing? If not at least 2-3 weeks you need to cure longer . I flush without clearex just ph balanced waters and I've never tasted anything but good herb after a good cure

One week really isn't enough time for a proper cure.I would leave it another two weeks and and try it.

Both replies are right and You need to wait a little more while.

Curing is a process that clorophyll is converted to simple sugars with the help of ethylene. It takes time, and if You have excess amount of it, then will take longer.
I dont flush but taste and smell comes after 3-4 weeks, each and every time.

thank u guys i guess i am just a bit impatient! last grow i ruined because the power company had bad connections on the pole so it caused MAJOR surges. looked like a disco the way my light and appliances were flashing! anyway i had just flushed the plants when it happened n so i had to put a claim on most of my electrical stuff cause the surges fried them, but not my light YEAH! anyway i didnt know if they had to look at the items so i didnt want the plants in the house so i chopped them after only 5 days after the flush. RUINED tasted like perfume! never went away either. gave 3 oz. from 2 plants away for free! i dont sell weed just smoke it but i cant smoke weed that tastes bad!YUCK

IMO, I dont think one needs any additives to flush except straight H2o, that is IMO. I mean, you could use the money from the clearex and use it for additives or something else.:thumbs:

When using clearex you are going to need to up the amount. I use 10ml per gallon as it is recommended to use between 7ml - 15ml per gallon. After that I usually water once or twice more with just plain water and they are done in about a week if you are trying to flush in a hurry. If not wait another week before chop.

u were right perfume taste is gone still a bit harsh another week of cure should do it!
