Problem: In the past three days im noticing alot of my fan leaves discoloring and some dying off. This started probably 5 days ago on lower leaves in canopy and i thought it was due to lack of light so i trimmed dead leaves off but the problem seems to be spreading. it should be noted as well i woke up this morning and found holes in the leaves so im thinking my cat got in and had a snack?. but as far as the discoloration and dying im stumped.

Medium/grow method: FF Ocean Forest

Feed: and supplements used: Fox Farms Dirty Dozen, 2x per week. typically at 1/4 - 1/2 scale ill attach photo of feed schedule mix. note im not using the open sesame. last fed around 3 days ago i mix 1 gallon per week so they get fed .5 gallon 2x per week.

water source: Distilled water only ever PH balanced when mixing feed in separate gallon probably fed 3 gallons maybe a little less every 2 days divided amongst the plants.

PH in the root zone: test from last night on most effected plant appears to be within 5.5-6

Strain/age: Most heavily affected are 2 GDP's from MSNL they are 5 weeks old. however starting to see some discoloration on my big bud also from MSNL and is probably 4.5 weeks old. they are going into second week of flower.

light used: 2 plants on right ( GDP and BB) are under 600w LED putting out " actual power" of 260W 3 plants on left ( younger auto widow, GDP and alightler older AW) are under 600w " actual power" of 260W and a 1000W "actual power" 200W LED running 18/6

Climate: climate stays around 80F with two fans circulating air.

Additional info: Last feeding they received probably 3 days ago was slightly stronger then ive been doing, i believe i went full strength on this mixture but after feeding i fed pure distilled on top to dilute the feeding. after doing research i believed ( i could be wrong) they can handle full strength nuts in the bud and bloom. i will attach feeding schedule photo as well. It should be noted that the big buds already starting to produce crystals on leaves of bud site whereas the GDP's have not.

@Keykcm :welcome:Welcome to AFN:welcome:We need to see the plants photographed in natural light 5000K or flash. Turn off the grow lights. Your soil looks really dry?

Lets get the whole picture:

Please fill in this form: (copy and paste part is below, this first one tell what specifically to include)

-Problem: (brief description)
-Medium/grow method: soil; soilless-- coco, or peat based like Promix, etc. (please provide the actual product name); DWC, NFT, etc.
-Feed and supplements used: include brand, dosage/strength, frequency of feeding and watering (alone); method-- by hand, drippers, rercirc' or drain-to-waste,... N-P-K #'s too if you can!
-Water source: RO/DI; tap- dechlorinated-?..... EC or TDS reading; pH (don't bother with this on RO/DI, do bother with TDS/EC though to confirm it's working well enough)
-Strain and age
-Climate: night and day ambient T and RH%; res' temperatures; any extremes in T/RH% exposure
- Light used: HID, LED, COB, combo of,... wattage; light cycle hours (20/4, 18/6 , etc.); distance to tops....
-Additional info: PH in the root zone. How long have the plants been affected?...How fast did symptoms appear?... Anything else you think might be relevant..

--Pictures including WHOLE PLANT PICS, and troubled leaves.. use normal light or flash as other light sources ruin color rendering, critical for diagnostics! Turn off the grow lights.

Looks like the classic hungry plant to me.. Yes, low light may have a play in some of the very lower leaf color/droop, but the upper leaves look hungry. What is the ppm of your current feed, and how old is the plant?

5 weeks today and im realizing I only split one gallon of water of feed between four plants per week. Typically very low on ppm when I take my TDS. Last week was the highest at 700.

If they are underfed this is the feeding schedule they are suggested to get for week 5. Am I ok to feed them at full strength and how many gallons for 4 plants? I’m noticing more discoloration and dropping on lower larger fan leaves is that just because of low light in the canopy?

It looks (to me, not an expert) that just the bottom inner-most leaves are affected. If that's the case (no spread), I'd consider it trivial, even expected. for the oldest and bottom-most leaves to die-back (or just be plucked sooner or later).

I need more information:

What soil, What nutrients not just a chart what are you actually using and how much of each adds up to 972 PPM What is you r base water PPM Source etc.
