...Both soil and hydro plants are ready for more food, that's likely why,...I don't know hydro well at all, but only 200 ppm's is very low for feed, should be up around 1000ppm..?.... So, your tap water is only 30 ppm's? That's really soft water for tap! Problem is, such soft water has poor buffering capacity (low CaCO3= Calcium carbonate), and as such pH is susceptible to wild swings from small inputs,... the Ca-Mg supplement you have, does it say it contains carbonates? If so, it'll help with both the buffering, and the possible Mg defc.,...still not positive about it,... get that soil pH up, and feed them more! How are you testing pH, with a meter, and run-off from the pot? Do you have pH adjusters for the hydro' as well?.... get you fert's and water up to 7.0, to counteract on that acidic soil some,...and dose with Ca-Mg at label directions, full strength,....we'll see how the girls respond over a couple days,... :smoke:
