What's this white stuff? Mold?

Plant seems fine apart from this. Any ideas? Its only on one bud, but should I snip it out just to be sure or is it sap?

Uk temps fluctuating between 30 celcius in the day to 10 at night. So could it be the plant sweating?

I honestly have never seen that before I guess would be mold but it looks slimmy so id ask the pro might need a couple more pics to just get a better angle.

My first guess would be spittlebugs.
I guess you'd know them as froghoppers in the U.K.
Not a friendly.

Thanks, Froghoppers looks likely, not keen on pesticides, so a squirt to wash off may help.

Spittlebugs. Try washing the foam off and neem oil the plant. The neem oil will take some time to work. I had the same issue with a wet outdoor grow. After washing off the foam and neem oiled the plant. It went away. The Spittlebug is in it's larvae stage and is feeding off the stem of your plant.
