I'm growing using DWC. my seedlings are doing well in their netpots. I need to know when I should start adding nutes to the water. Don't want to do it too soon, but don't want to let them go too long either. Right now all the are in is tap water thats been de-chlorinated, and airstones running.

I grow in soilless peat moss (pro mix), 20% perlite and 20% potting mix added. It has more nutrients than DWC, but only a tiny amount. 2 days after sprouting I feed GH Flora series 0.5-0.5-0.5. Two days after that, 0.8-0.8-0.8. Two days after that a quart of 5-2.5-2.5 (week 1 of "useless's" modified GH schedule).

So far, no burning. I've only done this twice. I think I can start a little hotter and get to 5-2.5-2.5 sooner.

I'm growing in hydoton. My babies are about a week old, they have their first set of leaves and I think I see a tiny sign of the next set starting. I'm thinking now is the time to start feeding. I went with GH Maxi Grow, to keep it simple. I'm doing a res change today, so I think I'll add nutes at maybe 1/8 strength and see what happens. I'll be checking ppms and ph after I mix.

i have followed alot of DWC grows and my buddy does DWC, which i am switching to soon aswell. From my understanding i know he only uses RO water + Calmag for the first 2 weeks in his DWC and his PPM's comes out to around 250 PPM after two weeks he introduces a base nute such as Grow. Good luck with it
