New Grower When to stop giving PK and or flowering nutes.

Hi guys, I am wondering if anyone can advise? I would like to know when is it best to stop giving PK and or flowering nutes, is 10 days from the end of the cycle advisable? The Pk I am referring to is Buddhas tree 9-18.

If I do begin to just flush clean PHd water will the buds still progress and will there be enough nutes in the soil to take them to the end? The pots are 11 litres.

I have heard that, with soil, a 10-14 day flush with PHed tap water is ideal to clear the plants system. I have never harvested before though, but this seems to be the general concensus. You may want to add a couple pictures of your plants so some experienced soil growers can weigh in on how much more time your plants may have.

When to stop giving nutes is a guessing game and depends a lot on your strain and grow media. I normally stop when about 1/4 of my trichs are cloudy. That gives about me about 7-14 days before they are pretty much all cloudy. I try to harvest with almost no amber though. So, if you are wanting more stone in your smoke then you will want to wait for some trichs to start going amber then start flushing. Like Skatter said, normally 7-14 days is plenty of time to clear. If you using a clearing agent then I have heard you can cut it down to 3 but I have no experience with this.

I wait until my fan leaves are about half yellowed, then start my cleanse with plain water. That usually gives me 10 - 14 days to cleanse them before harvest. Don't worry about them having enough nutrients to finish up. At that point in the grow the plant will be feeding off the stored energy in the fan leaves. As the plant draws that energy out, the leaves turn yellow. The buds should also continue to fatten up with as much as 25% of their final weight gained during that time.
