I've noticed a rather serious problem with AFN
The problem is the forum is fairly bloke dominate (with the handful of ladies :tiphat:) yet i haven't seen anything posted about cars, motorbikes, boats, go karts.. Anything with a engine really..

So post a list of cars you have owned from your first to your current, any projects you may have worked on, any motor sport you enjoy or anything with a motor, it all gives me that heart warming feeling. Post away guys!

I'm a motorbike bike guy, been riding since i was five on the honda PW50, then to PW80, xr100, cheap 150cc thumpstar, current bike is a 04 RMZ250 with a full top/bottom rebuild. Dirfting is another sport im very interested in i do not partake in it :( but id love to one day, Nissans would be my car of choice the Silvia S13 and the S15's are gods gift to man

Any other "ricer" fans around! i want to know what you are into! tell me your secrets :peace:

Hi Budson :)

Sounds like a nice idea!
We need to be a little careful as a canna smoker occasionally has the odd "brain fart" and forgets to do something really important!

Don't Post Your License/Registration Plate Please :pighug:

...It normally leads to your address! :)

Fully mechanically sound 1987 ford bronco with the inline 6 4.9 liter paired up with a 4 speed on dana 60's and some 35 inch bfg mud terrains for the present. But my true passion is building my buddies mid 2000's Dodge Dakota r/t bored that had a 396 in it which is now bored to a 410 with a 10:1 compression with a fully boxed frame as well as a hurst 3 speed shiftdr a tranz brake and turbo 4 linked by a 4 link suspension a set if wheelie bars and a roll cage with a schute. Its basically a 3k lb rocket ship. 200+ mph 1/4 at mid 7s when fully tuned but we seeing as its still street legal (mirrors, blinkers, head lights breaklights nd has full covrage ) we tend to just let it look pretty and whoop up on just about every car in its class at Englishtown

Woah woah 3000 pounds rolling down the road at speeds over 200mph, let me think thats around 300kph :crap: that thing can move! :D
imagine doing some weight reduction to that baddie 7's would be a thing of the past >.< i love the keeping it street legal aspect of things, love it even more when someone builds a sleeper/stealth car, who would suspect a dokota to drag off your average street car? haha slim to none! sounds like a weapon smoke :hump:

Gotta agree about the S15's, I love em. I quite like the Integra DC5's aswell, most jap performance cars are awesome to be fair. Although I much prefer bikes, you can have a lot more fun on a bike I think

Im into minitrucks, but i also like horsepower. I have a 91 Nissan King cab, airbagged with a 3 inch body drop and triangulated 4link in the back. Took out the stock KA24D motor and swapped it out with an SR20DET. Not quite done yet with the swap, might have to rear mount the turbo cause i need the room in the engine compartment because it lays rocker panel on 20' rims. From the youtube vids ive seen of that swap, that little truck should be quite lively after we are done.

Mustang junkie here! Always been a fan since my dad told me about all of the mustangs he had in the navy. I'm on my second currently a 2003 Mach 1 with a 03 cobra engines swap done by myself and a couple friends. First was a 03 Gt I had for my last year of highschool and until I finished a school in the navy. One of my favorite cars I've owned was a 89 Honda Crx. It had a 1.5l engine with no power steering. It felt like a go kart tho it handled so well and was pretty zippy for such a cheap car. I bought it to put less miles on the mach 1 and the fact it got close to 45mpg's from a gas engine was so awesome! Sadly I was forced with a decision to pay to have a second car towed home or sell the Honda when I got out navy and I really regret selling it.
I'm also a Ford Ranger nut on my second as well. First was a stick shift 2wd 4 banger that was really a blast to drive except for in the snowy stuff!. My current is a 99 4wd automatic with a wimpy v6 but its a hell of a lot better off road. I could get stuck on wet grass with my old 2wd!

Wrx fan here, own a 2009, unmodefied atm but saving to go crazy with a cosworth stroker kit, new gearbox, bigger turbo etc etc. Have seen one done and it was insane.
