Hey all! Total newbie here about to start my first grow. Going to be purchasing a 4x4 grow tent and have decided that LED is the route i would like to go. Wondering what the best LED setup for this amount of space would be. Budget isn't much of an issue as i realize you get what you pay for most for the time and if like this to be a long time investment.

Also wondering what some forgiving good beginner auto strains would be? Looking more for really high quality over big yields....

thanks in advance and i plan to post the whole deal here....

If I were you I'd get multiple panels that way you can more efficiently adjust your lights. I personally have 3 blackstar 240w UV and I really like them, 3 or 4 would more than cover your area and would do a hell of a job. I can't speak for any other led companies as I've only tried blackstar but I have seen some amazing grows out of Grow Northern, Cali light works and Fero LED. And as far as good beginner strains I'd recommend white cheese from dinafem, I couldn't kill that strain if I tried and I pulled in close to 7 ozs from just 1 lady

Heyy Man!

Nice to see you here in AFN! Here is many journy, LED,strain reviews.
In this link you find many info from LED's: https://www.autoflower.org/f138/
I have no experience with LED, I'm useing HPS system, but I read a lot from LED lighting, and I think maybe the GrowNorthern lighting is the best!
4 Ms0004 can cover your space, but if you want to go hard, and the money is not a problem 4 Ms006 will rock your box!
Around a year ago I find bigger W LED lights in their homepage, but a few mounts before they disappeared... I dont know why.

GL&happy growing!

Mainemedical is spot on about multiple panels and the blackstars being great but if you want one light I recommend a solar storm. Also check the led review like they suggested.
As for a strain recommendation, Kush van stitch is my personal favorite but dragons are also highly sought after in the auto community.
