Which strains would you recommend to a newbie?

Hi everyone!

I am in the process of my first grow ever. I picked Quick One by RQS, as it seemed like a nice and easy first starter, and it's looking pretty close to harvest now! I am looking out for seeds for my next round, and the sheer amount of strains is staggering. I've been lurking here for a while and noticed that people like Dutch Passion, but I can barely make sense of all the varieties.

So I would love some suggestions for some strains that are okay for noobs. I'm not bothered about size, time or smell, and have an indoor setup. Any anxiety-friendly suggestions would be appreciated too!

00 Seeds Northern Lights Auto is pretty great, wasn't anxiety destroying for me but really elevated my mood. Auto Zamaldelica by Ace Seeds looks good, I've grown a few of their photos with ease. The Zamaldelica x Kali China was great for my anxiety and I imagine the Zamaldelica auto would be great.

@420Forever has grown a few 00 Seeds varieties. I've never grown Mephisto but that and Rocbud receive high praise around here.

I have grown 420Fast Bud's Green Crack Auto at least 4 times. It is a happy plant to grow and the product is very good. Short Stuff Star Dawg Auto best ever potency and easy to grow. Then for one that is 1:1 THC:CBD Short Stuff Auto Amnesia CBD This one is good for taking the edge off with a pleasant high.

heya @Miss Cheesington and to afn! the eziest plantz i've grown so far are the auto kush & auto ww x bb, both from female seedz, and rhino ryder from fastbudz...and bubble gum auto from 00 seedz is shapin up to be a contender as well ppp

Seems you cannot kill "White Widow XXL" - I've done them a few times now (+ they get me high AF) and lately growing alongside other as well has pretty much confirmed that for me. I've currently got them next to my Critical Mass and they are all fed the same BUT I've also had PH and sme other nutrient problems (as usual) however it seems the Widows still keep on powering through regardless of what they do or do not get. The Widows are ready to pull down, still look a heck of a lot healthier than what the Criticals do. 2 criticals have some bud but the leaves look pretty sick and the other 1 has sat there dormant for 6+weeks now? I was thinking about ripping it up last week until i noticed it actually finally started to grow and has started to flower now. I will get it right one day, (maybe)

Not sure where the seeds came from as I got them off the dark market before I realised i could just import them from a seedbank myself cheaper.. My first ever grow 1 of them actually hermied out or something? As it still grew all bud but when chopped up those bad boys had seeds for days!?!?! Now I've just been growing all the seeds i got!

So many good breeders and seed banks out there, it can be hard to choose! Personally I’ve had great success with Dinafem seeds, love their White Widow XXL and I’ve got some other strains of theirs to run in my next grow. Currently I have Zamnesia Gorilla Glue Autos coming to the end, but they have grown soooo tall (57” from top of the soil to the top of the plants!) which is huge in comparison to the other plants I’ve grown from other breeders. But if space isn’t an issue, then I wouldn’t worry about that. Can’t help you with anxiety suggestions but look for something with a high CBD content.

I second the Dinafem White Widow XXL auto for being a simple grow and staying short like I like....then providing the fire I desire.. In 15 years of growing perpetually, I prefer plants staying short and stocky but now autos are getting taller and taller and not the classic size for the "little ones".
I keep trying the "new" hyped breeders and seldom feel like it has been money well spent.
