Whiteflies man. They're a battle. They will eventually take over and win if you don't manage them from now until you're finished. There's no easy way to get rid of them. No Pest Strips work for awhile.. no matter what you do, it's going to require a lot of effort. Look into Mighty Wash it's made by NPK Industries and it's for spidermites but works great on whiteflies. Get a lot of yellow traps, hang them everywhere - you'll see them on the traps in no time. They may not be too serious yet but they'll get there. Start looking at the undersides of the plants you have that are budding. I bet there's little eggs on some of the leaves already.
I got them, everyone said shut down to fix it.. I bombed with food grade foggers, washed the plants. put them in the sun for 4 hours (the chemical has a 3hr evap in direct sunlight), rinse repeat 3 times .. the ones that weren't budding I just rinsed off. Don't do it if you have any plants past week 3 - needs to still be pretty immature bud. Otherwise just use Mighty Wash... spray the plant in it's entirety right before lights out. Get the undersides of the leaves real good. I bought 3 foggers and used them once every 5 days. I haven't seen a whitefly since. After the first bombing I saw practically none.. three days later, I saw quite a few.. bombed on the fifth day. By the 9th day I saw a few again, bombed on the 10th day.. didn't see any after that and haven't bombed since. My infestation was bad though - they destroyed my plants, killed my clones, made all of my plants hermie from the level of stress because they just keep sucking the juices from the plant. They even caused budrot in some of my plants from weakening the plant so much. NO BUENO!
Put up HotShot No Pest Strips but take them down 2.5 weeks before harvest and make sure you have fresh air circulating. Dichlorovos has a 4.8 to 6.9 hour evaporation time. Even with such a quick evaporation time it's still recommended to go two weeks. Stay out of the area while these are hanging, no more than 2 hours a day (they're rated for 4 but let's be safe if we're going to use them). I get pretty minimal and usually do all my stuff within 30 minutes and stay out. Keep them in for at least 21 days. This will handle a full lifecycle. Some folks use them for an entire grow but a lot of people voice against this as well. I'm not a fan of smoking chemicals so I let my shit evaporate and pull them before harvest. I do reintroduce them at the first sign of bugs though.
Good luck man, wage war on them sons a bitches!
