Problem: I have two Pineapple Express growing on my window sill, they will be four weeks old tomorrow but I’ve today noticed some small white/light brown spots on the lower leaves of one plant, which also feel a little crispy on one tip. I started these as I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with something home grown, sadly he realised pretty quick I’m not growing tomatoes so, surprise is no more! I was hoping to try to do it as simply as possible but the further I get in to it, the more I realise that’s probably not going to work out!

Medium/grow method:
Westland multi purpose compost and a potting mix as it was the only thing I could find with perlite in it. I think I mixed half and half.

Feed: and supplements used:
Im using biobizz bio grow. They had their first feed Wednesday. I diluted 2ml in 1 litre of water and then gave each plant 200ml. I then fed them again Friday and was planning another today (Sunday).

water source: Tap water which I leave in a container for a day or more before using.

Strain/age: Pineapple Express. 4 weeks old.

light used: Sunlight either on window sill or outside when it's not too windy.

Climate: UK, so pretty crap most of the time, but very humid and sunny for the last few weeks.

Additional info: Any advice is hugely welcomed as I've become way more attached than I thought I would! I've read so much but feel pretty confused as a lot of people have different ideas. I'm also not sure whether they should be as tall as they are? When people grow under lights they seem to have much shorter, fuller plants? I did want to keep it as simple as possible, but I'm up for getting a lot more involved now.

Thank you!

Looks like she is starved for light, a bit over watered and the spots look like nutrients splashed on the leaf. Try and get more full sun, maybe a sheltered spot in the garden or tie her to a bean pole. The wind will help her stiffen her stem.

Sent from my comfy chair.
