Lighting Why not update the MS0006?

I have now serviced my dear MS0006 as I replaced a driver for it and now it works like a charm again!

But while doing that and as I was very impressed about the modular nature of this baby, I was thinking why not GN would release updated LED modules with same Rebel diodes as in HS1 and fitted holographic diffusor? It would be a modders heaven and such a cool thing! Think also all the possibility to repair the units as you could order spares..

What would you think about this idea? Man it would be a killer light!

They did that very thing bro with the Rebel Upgrades,I use them in my other room,trouble is they were only a limited edition so not available any more.

I also swapped a driver out, think I might have to do it again as one module is flickering intermittently. Hopefully they still do replacements. I'm gutted they don't do the Rebel upgrade anymore, with my setup, swapping out one module for the Rebel would be amazing. Need to save up for the HS1, it's an obvious progression and I'm more than happy with the MS0006, just another 300 sheets lol.

Oh gosh! I feel for you man. Serving the same unit twice... I totally agree, aftet getting my HS1 I started already saving for another one and gave up the idea of rebel upgrades. Why bother when HS1 beats it with wattage by far.

As I plan in investing in a LED light this fall, it's apparent that I need to learn more about how they work. I seen this thread talking about drivers and I just knew it had to be about speakers as I just replace my titanium drivers in my Peavey SP5 speakers, lol ... Peace!
