The interesting thing about triploid genetics is that they can't be duplicated or crossed. Understandable from the breeders viewpoint at least, and I would wager, a deliberate design objective. It must be incredibly frustrating to do the huge amount of work developing strains and then have others simply rename them and sell them with next to zero work.

This reminds me of Terminator seeds. They grow, but can't reproduce.

I've had a few triploids as mutation, not as polyploid x diploid the way GC is doing it. I've noticed that they all eventually go to asymetrical nodes after 5-6 nodes growth.

This means you can still cut clones, but they won't have the triploid.

What happens if reversal spray is used on a triploid? I've hit them with pollen in the past with zero success, can they produce viable pollen?

I'd be more interested in auto triploids, because those are already single use seeds to my logic.

Big fan of Grower's Choice NL. Their seeds have always been excellent, shipped within a day with tracking. I did have order get snagged in customs once, but they were replaced.

They often run specials. I don't buy their seeds unless it's BOGO.
