welcome nam! yea it will work! the only reasons people hang them is to open up floor space as well as help vent warmer air that is generated at the top of the tent! just make sure your cfm ratings match up! give the odor a good touch time with your carbon!

thanks guerrillasmoke i thought so just wanted to make sure i have a 2x4x5 tent with a 4in 165 cfm and am going to use two 240 blackstar for lighting so didnt think would be as much top heat just waiting on lights to get here to get this started should be here tomorrow or sat for sure have 2 fem auto pks in paper towel since last night one has popped am going to use roots organic in 3 gal pots cant wait to get the show on the road have been reading as many threads as i can and trying to retain all i can great mods on here and everyone so helpful think i can get this done with some help from my friends

pk purple kush s is because i have 2 i confussed that i guess and will also have 1 northern light so will have 3 total was why i was going with 3 gal and that filter does take up some floor space
