So what colours are the cables on the connectors?
One will be live (brown) and one will be neutral (blue), there will be no earth connection as this will be a class 2 fan.
So you need a plug head and 2-core flex, or a 2 core and earth flex (and cut out the earth cable).

I know that, was just telling him what he needs seems confused by the whole thing, was just giving him a bit of help. I wired mine, also an electrician was just trying to help...
