Alrighty lads here we go for the update of the day! Woke up early this AM took a fat dab and got in the garden.
Girls are up and looking happy! They are getting sprayed lightly with RO water when I wake up and before I pass out for night.

Daytime temps in around 75-79, Nighttime temps around 69- 74. Humidity is around 40 percent with the humidifier outside the tent and being monitored manually from me. Low for the babies for sure but they are in the clone dome/ covered with ziplock bags. Im constantly peeking in and checking on the girls. The Perks of working from home I guess? :smoking:

4 out of 5 Greases are up and the one in the far left corner, hooo boy she is healthy and thriving. The Gorilla Cake is vigorous and 6/6 are up. Mango OG is 4/6 if I recall correctly. The Girls that didn't make it up I put their cups out of the Clone dome and into the ziplock bags instead.

Well a lot has happened in the past few days so let me fill you in. Roll you one and chime in.
also I don't know specific genetics so sorry in advance about that.

Basically I'm a father now of 6 clones that were going to the bin. A friend of my partner was going to the hospital and basically these plants were going to die.. I'm not against helping a friend and these come from a trusted source so I'm excited to see what's to come of these.

This is the first day that they were given to me. You could tell that these ladies had not been dealt with for a few days and some look like they are even starting to flower. I also noticed some signs of pest damage so needless to say I had a lot of work set out for me.

Got to work and did a full solution of Dr. Zymes on them. I also plucked some leaves that had the most damage.. Now in hind sight I should've taken pics of those but oh well I don't think we will have a problem as long as I keep climate on point, and IPM in check. I can tell these girls are all very, very root bound so we will transplant as soon as we take clones. I was asked when given the plants to at least take clones of the "Killer B" so we will follow through on that promise. Tomorrow we will refill water at Walmart and get to work on these girls. Clone, Light defoliation, transplant, and water.
The seedlings are trudging along.. Not much to report there.

    Day 8
  • Beginning of the 2nd week of flower, nice.

Thrips still not dead, not nice.
Lost Coast application everyday at 0530 before lights go out at 6.
"Lost Coast Plant Therapy may be used until the day of harvest".
The same with Dr.Zymes so that makes me feel easy. The plant damage doesn't tho but good or bad I'm here to report.

4x4 got a top dressing of Terp Tea Bloom @ 2Tsp a pot. I then watered with Fish Shit at 6ml/ 1gal of R.O water.

4x2 got a baby dosing of Oregonism which is Roots Organic's microbe powder, earlier in the week. They will get repotted next week on my next day off. They really want it. I'm killing off all males, might keep pollen from a Grease trap if one is a male. (Which we might have signs of already). The Grease trap comes from 808 genetics Haole Girl x Their "Crippy" wow is all I can say, these 3 are gas smelling already with a hint of sweetness. I think whatever girl I get from them will be the only plant I clone from these seedlings, but time will tell.

    Boy?

    Day 15
  • Begin week 3 nice.

So I gave them a nice defol and seeing as how hard I went on the defol I may or may not defol again in week 5. Got rid of major fan leaves and leave blocking prime budsites. I did however find 1 single thrip in the grow so I guess it's a mini win I'm not sure. To combat this after I applied topdress nutes and watered in, I applied some Diamatomaceus Earth to the soil and spritzed some lost coast on the plants.

On the nutrient side of things, I will say that I'm officially no longer completely organic, I am now organic based. I highly underestimated the strength of the dry ammendment cal mag I have and the plants suffered because of my foolishness. To get some cal mag and some "organic based" tea nutes into the plants this past week I have been administering foliar sprays to both of my tents. I got some non organic calmag and an organic based tea product at quarter strength in a spray bottle, I'm broke and I got these nutes from a friend so thats how it goes.. The new growth is coming in relatively happy so I think my efforts are not in vain.

    Day 22
  • Lol I think I was stoned last week but uhhh yeah this is week 3.
    :crying:

I'm still fighting with like 1 or two thrips here and there in each tent. The damage is minimal and I blasted the 4x2 tent with DE in a spray bottle. Application tech will get better with time lol. I'm almost out of Lost Coast Ipm spray, so I'll be going back to Dr zymes. Maybe the switch up will mess them up.

I'm happy with the canopy thats coming along. I need the last few clones to root so I can make more room. The gorilla cake.. im thinking of getting rid of a few, not a fan of the ones that grew into straight spears in the solos.

Oh this is my first auto ever, her names Bertha! My diary of her is on the seedstockers section.

    4x4

Terp tea bloom @ 3tsp per plant top dressed.
Elemental @ 1.5 tsp per plant top dressed.
Watered in with 1/2 tsp per gal of Recharge.
Light foliar of cal mag. Waiting on some organic cal mag. The foliar cal mag I have is non organic so I don't really wanna put it into the soil. I can see the difference in bud growth. This is the first time I've had such good results indoor, and it's all thanks to the awesome equipment I have now compared to my budget grow before. Even with the pests I'm happy with everything going forward.

    Week 4
  • Yesterday was day 29 so basically a month in flower. I gotta say plants are beginning to stack up. The Killa B has a lemon lime scent that reminds me of Kool aid, very pleasant. The Ice cream Sundaes smell nothing of their name, they reek of gas and skunk terps. Garlic Juice have no smell yet. They seem a little hungry so I might up their nutes a little more next week if they look like they are showing more deficiencies. Next grow I'm gonna switch bloom nutes.

The Ice Cream gal in the front right corner is falling all over herself. Gonna need to get her some support. This grow will be done with no trelis because I need to check daily for thrips. Gonna need to find some cheap support.

Terp tea bloom @ 3tsp per plant top dressed.
Watered in with 1tsp per gal of recharge.
Cal mag feed will happen tmrw, I ran out of cal mag.

    KILLA BEES
  • Ok guys the return of the Killa Bees!!

These are the cuttings I took of the middle plant "Killa Bees"
Found out that this strain is from Archive Seed bank, and I love her ease of growth and her resiliency. She takes to super cropping and topping amazingly. I bend her tops over almost daily to get this nice canopy. I'll put her lineage here before I go over my inputs.

    Lineage: Malawi Gold x NLHaze F2 x Moonbow #75

    Soil: Bio bizz lightmix
Current pot: 3 gal fabrics (going to 5 gals before flower)
Nutes / inputs: *Real Growers Recharge*, Roots Organic's Veg Terp tea, Raw organics silica, TDS organic cal mag, Dr. Zymes (as a foliar, and soil drench 1x a month)
    20210904_125853.jpg

    Few weeks apart of growth
    20210924_080528.jpg

Plans are to take a few cuts, transplant to 5 gallon pots and then flip to flower. My next run will be autos though I'm pretty sure. I'll take the best cut and put her to flower with the autos. I'm afraid of losing a cut, wish I had friends who had a veg tent for mothers and cuts.
I have some seedstockers autos I'm just dying to get started.. next year I will have my foot on the gas pedal running 1 tent and planting outdoors as well for an early auto seed run and then a harvest outdoors in the fall as well.

    Closing thoughts for myself.
I'm afraid of making bubble out of damaged material from my last harvest because of the slight wpm. I've read up alot saying that I should be fine as long as I get a good even dry and not to collect anything under the 45 micron bag. Worst case scenario, it sucks, I toss it all, and at the very least I had learned on how to make hash. (I'm a first timer). Anyone who reads this sorry for the rambling. This is a journal for me to look back on, and also I just took 3 dabs. I'll update weekly or during important times.
