Your using GN's older unit and this is 180w. Should be 30" for seedling. Check the Grow Northern manual in stickies in the GN section for more details on light heights. It's a solid unit, enjoy your grow.

:toke: ..looks light blasted to me too,... that unit has good power, so from what I do myself and what I've read from other LED brands, seedlings should be about 2'+ away,... also, what soil is that? Is it a light mix, coco or peat based? And did you get a pH reading on it as well,... just covering the bases here mate! She does look much better,... if you have a micronutrient supplement with Fe in it in particular, a dose of that will help recover the color faster,... some Ca-Mg will facilitate recovery faster too,... got any B1 or Superthrive? ..... (LOL! everybody at once here now!)-- mind what Hobbes and Bunny say too,...

Not a problem at all bud. I'm actually on the last 3rd of a ~24 hour drive back home. Not much better to do than read. I see you have people more familiar with the light you have, so that's good. Guess i'll just step out and let the pros advise you. I do want to know what comes from this though, so I'll be watching. Till later, take care. :smoking:

@Son of Hobbes @Bunny @Waira @Fuggzy - Thanks for looking in and for your help!

Ah ph, thought this would come up!

I will start by saying that from experience I know my soil is about 6.5 and the local water ranges from about 6 - 8 depending on the source (varies).

But....

I do not check ph and haven't done for about 2 years!
I threw my ph kit in the bin and never looked back!

Compost has a large capacity to buffer, it is my understanding that it adjusts the ph better than I ever could!
And imo any messing just disturbs this natural process!?
I use "organic" nutes. So dolomite lime in the soil and supplemental cal/mag helps but I do well without tbh!

My motto is K.I.S.S (Keep It Simple Stoner)
Messing about did more damage than good when I first switched to soil.
I have had amazing results with a stable environment, lot's of love and a light feed!

Will definitely be doing a lot more reading on my new light and its great GN have representatives here! (I've came to the right place it seems!)

If you told me 6 month ago I would be growing auto's under LED I would of laughed at you!
But I absolutely love this unit and will be switching my hps to an led or two soon I think!
I can't see me running photos again either unless I upscale massively and that would only happen if we saw a change in the law!

I keep it simple so don't always use beneficials! Last run all I used was bloom from day30 and my plants thrived! (If you check my journal you will see some lush, healthy plant's I have growing )
Sometimes less is nore imo and I do not like to throw all sorts at them.

On my shelf all I have is- Mycorrhiza Granules, Root Stimulant. Bio Silicon, FishMix, Oldtimer Bloom & Equilibrium(cal/mag)
