On the HLG 600R, I don’t know if I’ve fallen in love with it yet. It’s clearly a step up from my (now) absurd HPS (there were two) & all its ducting, fan, etc. I have no quantifiable proof that it grows plants as well or better than the HPS, but I think it does, my energy cost plummets, it’s a breeze to move around, no moving parts. The build quality is first rate. It arrives in a heavy duty box with a handle, like a big brief case. If not in use, I will store it in that custom box. That box was enclosed in a unmarked box for shipping. Very subtle. Obviously cord is included. The cord is not conveniently replaceable. I chose 240v rather than 120v & the female end is hard-wired to the light. Most folks will prolly choose the 120v version. Same price either way. Just be sure you order the right one for you! I don’t have a quantum meter, which is needed to accurately read PAR. I believe measuring light quality & intensity are important, so I improvise with my LUX meter. It’s a poor substitute, but compromises must be made. Anyway, I can say right now that I would buy this light all over again. Good luck to y’all, fellow weed farmers.

Foliar kelp w/h2o & surfactant. Properly PH’d. All girls are ready for another watering. Because I’ve been giving them heavy nutes, & they seem to be telling me to back off, it’ll just be PHd h2o. A light flush. Turned the HLG way down - 25-30% & turned up off. My garden Day is actually lunar earth night, for the cheaper rates. So this evening I’ll turn the hlg up full but leave the UV off for 24 more hours. Brought some leaves up to scope. I cleaned up leaves / air flow on The Lone Ranger. Other than being over-fed, I see no issues with any plant. I expect to find some mite eggs when I scope, but there are no stressed or yellow leaves, no webs. I know I’m by no means rid of them, but if there are only a few, life goes on.

Last Wednesday. I was keeping co2 @ 1200ppm but have turned it off. Turned ac off & running door / hatch half open. This will save me some money & co2 supposed to be less important in flower. For several of these plants I think I’m a couple weeks from chop. Day temp lowered from 80F to 75F. Night temps are around 69F. RH very low - around 38RH. The Lone Ranger - only surviving Fast Buds Gorilla Cookies - is the spindly one with spotted leaves.

Basement smells dank! I’ve given up on the Lone Ranger. I’m confident (3) Fastbuds Mexican Airlines will give me decent (autoflower) yield. There are two that look to be a solid couple weeks behind these 3 & I hope they put on some weight yet. I defoliated moderately hard early in this week. All bottom leaves, some unhealthy leaves. If this were a photoperiod grow, I would have heavily lollipopped. I kept these very short. Topped two plants twice & tied down mercilessly. Two plants I simply bent over, revealing more bud sites. 1 I went straight Christmas Tree. I wanted to see if any styles outperformed the others.

Current nutrient schedule is 1mg Armor si, 3mg Floramicro, 1mg FloraGrow, 5mg Flora Bloom, 1.5mg Liquid Koolbloom, 1mg Floralicious Plus. I feed every day or two. Soil mix is Ocean Forrest.

Primary light is HLG 600R @ 24” from cola tops. Two reptile lights for some UV at similar distance. The reptile lights are low power so they run all day. I have some 4’ T5 UV lights that I’ve not yet taken from boxes. When I get around to installing, they will run for shorter periods.

Last Wednesday. I was keeping co2 @ 1200ppm but have turned it off. Turned ac off & running door / hatch half open. This will save me some money & co2 supposed to be less important in flower. I'm gonna read up on this, here's my mex air at 1 month
