Day 63

We are leaving the 9th week behind. She is doing well in general but there are problems on some leaves.
I am not sure if it's serious enough to need a flush.

Also, I don't know how long until the finish line. An estimate would be great:toke:

Flushing is a myth as most people know it...they do more harm than good many times. Plants look great, keep on pushing. I would say you got a couple weeks left.

A loupe is the professional way to harvest, I would make it a point to get something. You can also get one of those microscopes that hooks to your phone, or a cheap little plastic microscope from Amazon. They are like ten bucks.

Without a doubt, the most professional and consistent method...and you can then decide if you want to pick a day early/late based on personal preference. Early will take the sting out of some heavy indicas, and make them a little lighter and more uplifting whilst late will be more narcotic and couch lock. I prefer a day or 2 early on indicas according to the view through the scope.

You're looking for the color of the resin and trichomes. When they turn amber the trichomes are mature. Clear resin is lighter than amber in intensity. You can always harvest a plant in stages too....no reason to have to do it all at the same second, especially if you're curious as to how far ambered you'd like the majority of it to get.

Keep on truckin, the finish line is approaching. As long as the pH is on point and you're using decent quality nutes all flushing will accomplish is stripping those away in the very final stages of development. You DO NOT need to make a big deal out of flushing, do it for a day or two before harvest if that makes you happy. I used to flush dope plants. Now I flush the toilet.

This one time I thought I saw a submarine, but it turns out that I just had some gas. Rhombus.

Great info! I have not seen a fully grown plant since I had to harvest the previous one very early. That's actually the reason for my confusion but I think she has at least two more weeks.

I was undecided about flush, as you said, it can be enough to give plain water for a while without flushing. At least that's my current plan.

There's also a decent mini microscope here. I will have one eye on him.

Thanks :bighug:
