New Grower First Time

So here I go and time will tell.
I bought a AC Infinity 4x2x72 tent kit with Next-gen EC inline fan 4”, EC circulator clip fan 6” and 200W full-spectrum grow light with Samsung LM301B LEDs. I start with 3gal fabric pots using Fox Farm Ocean Forest mixed with perlite at 75/25%. In that I put a peat pod to start my germinated seed. I have my light set to 40% and 18" from canopy. I will be using the Fox Farm Trio during my grow. So this is what I have the first week.

I've tested the pH every time I water or feed pH had always been 6.3 to 6.8. The water source has been the same during the complete grow.

How much molasses you been giving per gallon? Have you ever tested the tds on the water? I mean is not a big deal your at the end of not really gonna fuck it up. They are really finishing up.

No molasses in the last 6 to 8 watering it was 1 tbs per gal. TC on the water is 130 right or of the well. I've learned from this my first grow. I always watered when the plants were dry and pot was light in weight. But it was always 1/2 gal and never had run off. My next grow I will water to run off every time and test ppm on run off. To make sure I don't have a build up of nutes. I'll to my next grow and trim more of the lower buds and cut new growth down low.

I think @Death The Cultivator maybe right if you have a local coop with a deiionized water dispenser or zero water filte rmaybe use that or distilled water while high tds water won't hurt in the beginning eventually the minerals build up in the container usually you want like 30 to 40tds like reverse osmosis water.

Nice job mate, test your patience don't they, but it's worth it in the end when you can kick back and enjoy the fruits of your labour, happy days ahead :cooldance:

So day 85 and my 2 Cotton Candy Kush are now chopped down and drying. The Hawaiian is still pumping up and turned out to be the best of them. I'm only watering with pH water 6.3 - 6.6 the other one that I started a week later is pumping up but leaves are yellowing no nutes for her either. Just water. I have learned from this my first grow and will change a lot next grow. I'll water with at least 10 - 20% run off and heck ppm and EC. I know by never having run off my nutes built up in the soil and that hurt me this grow. I will trim more of the smaller shoots that grow at the bottom and I'm going to top them also. And most of all keep a really close eye on ppm of all the nutes I give them. Not sure how much I'll get or how good it will be. But for sure I will have more than I did before I grew! I'm going to dry as slow as my tent will let me. I cut all the branches off to dry but doing whole plant dry. And then cure keeping my humidity at around 62%. I'll post pictures of the Hawaiian and Tangerine Dream later today. I'm going to start 2 more plants and hope they do ok and finish before it gets to cold. If they take 12 weeks not sure how it will go. But my tent and shop should keep things warm enough I hope!! I might just grow only 1 plant not sure. I'll start the seed/seeds today.

I got 7.5oz from my 2 Cotton Candy Kush plant but I dried it to much..... Here's my other 2 plants getting chopped tonight they have way more weight than the 2 Cotton Candy Kush.

Congrats on the yield your gonna have alot to smoke lol. It might not be too dry that shit can be deceiving. There may be moisture inside the core of the bud. That when put in a mason jar will rehydrate the outer part. Drying and sweating then curing bud is an art form some people use moisture meters. Ive dried too moist vaped great cured nice but because there was still too much moisture it molded in the jar even tho it smelled good and hit good. So if you did really over dry at least that didn't happen to you. I should have burped my jar a bunch but I left it in there to cure and didn't want to mess with it. To sweat hang dry at 60f 55 to 60rh till the stems almost snap but they don't completely and the outside is dry a newbie would think it was dry at this point but you need to eliminate the core humidity. Put the bud in a paper bag and flip every 12hrs twice a day like once in the morning once at night then after a week or two of sweating jar after trimming the sugar leaves if you want. Point of the sweat is to slowly wick the remaining moisture out. But not have it all overly dry and an evenly dry.

Thanks I only took the Hawaiian today and left the auto tangerine dream. From what the trichomes look like now I'll chip that when my Hawaiian is dry and going to cure.

Forgot to add if u do the paper bag sweat leave no room for air. Like fold it down or make a humidor with two bags cut to size folded over each other

If you don't do it that way it will dry out faster meaning you won't get a sweat

So here's the total to my first grow....
First of all the 2 Cotton Candy Kush plants did not give me 7.5ozs. Like I said at first the RH was around 70-75% when I weighed it. I thought I had dried it to much because the uds seemed to dry but after jaring it I found out really fast it was at 70-75% RH So I want to get that straight up front. Here is my final weight for all 4 of my plants.
Here are my weights with everything dried to RH 60%.
My 2 Cotton Candy Kush plants got me 5.7ozs
Hawaiian 1 plant for me
5.9ozs
Tangerine Dream 1 plant got me
5.1ozs
So 16.7ozs all together over a pound I'm not going to complain! I would say around 2ozs of smaller buds. Which I'll cut off and let the bigger bud do more next grow. I've learned a lot from this my first grow.
The Cotton Candy Kush and the Hawaiian I did not let dry enough before I cut the buds from the branches. So it was more work I had to end up taking the buds from the jars and drying then more. But I feel like it was all good considering the problems I had at the end. It all gives me a better high than what I've been buying.
Here's my question for y'all now. How long do I have to keep burping the jars and how do I keep it for the long haul??? Tell me what y'all think.

For the real long haul 20yrs freeze don't shake resin will come off for keep it like it is for like a year and slow down oxidization and fermenting/curing refrigerator. You can just keep in jars at like 60f forever pretty much they will just cure more and change the flavor and type of high how good it burns etc. I can't tell you the exact rh it should be but things can seem dry and good to vape/smoke but being in a jar for weeks can mold fuck up your buds smell like ammonia. So id burp if you see the Rh get too high. I don't use those meters so I can't tell you. But it should last for years at 60f once dried just in jar it will change though I had stuff smell like gasoline then Vicks vapor rub later. So things will change so if you like where its at fridge
