Your plain old potting soil and chicken poop has me intrigued m8 :eyebrows: the potential savings are vast lol do u adjust PH of your water goin in?
No mate just good old Scottish tap water. I gave up on chemicals yonks ago. I never got consistent results with bottle nutes. It's only a plant so I grow them like any other plant. Shit and water seems to do the garden so why not my indoor garden . Result . Oh and the quality from organic is far superior to .
The secret to a good grow is to have all the nutrients in the soil at the start. Autoflowers are not the same as photoperiod and need important nutes early and if they don't get it then they suffer fast.
Bit of a long answer but I'm sure it makes sense. Lol

Hey mate, do you use any perlite in your pots or just plain soil?
just soil dude . I stoped using perlite because I wanted more root mass , plus it was holding the water in and causing problems with slow growing strains.
soil all the way dude .:superhero:

Thanks will give that a try next time. :d5:
I will be documenting all my adventure's on this page.
Any questions anyone has will be answered with the best of my knowledge and ability.
This is all new to me ( social media ) .
Bare with me and my lack of savyness. I will get it soon lol

Here we go .
Its about 100g of dry chicken manure per 4ltr pot .
Measure out enough for desired amount of pots. In my case 25 pots = 2500g of dry chicken manure.
Add to bucket and cover with just enough water to cover the pellets.
Pop lid on and leave for 12/24 hour's
After time has past the pellets will be soft an crumble down to a nice compost texture . ready to use.
I put a few handfuls of plain soil in the pot , add 2 handfuls of manure, as I fill the pot with plain soil I mix in the manure as I go until full.
Then I soak each pot with 1ltr of water.
And now I'm ready for the seedlings.

Here is a little experiment I'm doing with some organic granules . miracle grow.
I put 10g of granules on top and raked in with my fingers to make it fluffy and airy .
The granules last time I experimented with them grew a nice beneficial mould on top of the soil. So I'm hoping this will occur again .
There is enough chicken manure in the pots to see them threw , this is just a small experiment to see if I can get the mould to grow.
