Grow Mediums So I hopped aboard the autopot/megacrop train

Alright finally made the move from dwc to coco/autopots. AN 3 part nute line has been good but so many different bottles and the PRICE is whats turning me to megacrop and the extras. Dwc is great but it’s become too much work for me now. I’m also still a pretty crappy grower but am diving in to a bunch of new stuff this grow. 5 gorilla glue and 1 GSC from fastbuds

The setup:
5x5 tent
1000w of HLG Saber strips (veg and flower)
2 4ft UVB bulbs
3.9g autopots with airdomes
8in in-line fan and HI Ice box for A/C
Co2 and 20w of far red are sitting in the closet but may or may not be used

Looks like they should all be up and open today. GSC is bottom left and will be the only one without and air dome

Day 2 they’ve all lost their helmets and are in their final pots. Under a qb135 in 4000k for now.

Coco was pre charged with
2g/g megacrop
1g/g sweet candy
.4g/g kelp extract
2ml/g Calimagic
8ml/g AN voodoo juice/piranha/tarantula

I'm a new grower and am excited to see how you do with megacrop. I am using AN now on my first grow (3 days in). Kind of surprised at the prices but bit the bullet and went that route. Good luck!

Not much to report, they’re still coming along nicely, one GG is significantly smaller than the rest hopefully she spurts later. Here is another reason I went with autopots. A Mephisto forgotten cookies mainline experiment I did. It was ‘in veg’ for about 7-8 weeks, topped until 8 main colas. Went away for a few days and when I came back my res was almost empty and things just stayed bad from there with the calmag issue. Was stunted for about a week and finally recovered after I switched to megacrop and things are great now.

Taking small uv sessions and I can notice a big difference in smell already. I didn’t want all the side branches but since I left for a bit I just said screw it and focused on getting her into recovery. Mephisto has some strong/great genetics! Stressed her to the max and still coming along nicely, hasn’t hermied either

Day 9 coming along smoothly. Got a couple with some ugly leaves but all relatively the same size. Had their first feed on day 7 with the same mix I pre charged the coco with but diluted 50/50 with water
