Indoor Telos In The Eves - Chapter One

Hi Guys

I've been an on and off grower for about 16 years and a smoker for even longer. And apart from one little auto that I tossed before potting up with a bunch of photos. I've never grown an autoflower.

I've moved and recently done a photo grow wedged between the rafters so I have full jars. I can now clean up the tin foil haven I had made in the attic and get a tent that would fit without breaking my back.

Here is a picture of the last grow in the crampt conditions!

These are the only pics I have as this was a couple of weeks before catching Covid and then feeling crap for another 10 days. But they didn't fail to impress come harvest day!

So this grow I have ditched the cooltube and automated system and gone back to basics again, I bought the Telos light and a new tent to squeeze inbetween the rafters in the loft. I originally intended to also buy another led until I had seen the results others had had with the one telos.

This is the new setup in all it's cramptness! I have a tube heater that I intend to swap for the oil rad as I have another project I want to run along side this.

40 Liters Bio Bizz Light Mix
50 Liters Tropic Mix

Seeds are

1x Fastbuds Cheese Auto
1x Fastbuds Purple Lemonade
1x Bulk Genetics Amnesia Lemon
1x Bulk Genetics Jack Herer x White Widow
1x Top Shelf Elite Auto Nightcrawler

There are a couple of other seeds that cracked but didn't quite look like the could get it up that I have popped into the soil as they may be late show-ers

I mixed up 20 liters of Light Mix and approx 20 Liters of the Tropic Mix and added about 4-5 tablespoons of Mycorrhizae to the mix and then topped 4 pots with the Light Mix.

The Auto Nightcrawler popped up a day later with its helmet on and without having to take another trip the hydro shop I have chanced planting her directly into the Tropic Mix. Hopefully she will not have a paddy and as I've never gone with autos before I would like to see if it has a paddy with this medium strength soil!

Seeds went into the propagator on the Sunday 28th Feb and all five have now been planted up to 16 Liter pots from Root Riot cubes on the 5th March. So another update coming very soon.

Thanks for the Replies guys, I will hopefully have an update this week! Nice to finally share the loft adventures (All be it a little nippy up there at the moment, soon the heat will be unbearable! in a couple of months roll on the 30+ days!

its pretty amazing how cool the telos run without the driver on them my V1 T008 runs at 50-55c the V2 T008 runs at 30-33c with no driver attached im going to remove the driver from the V1 when i upgrade the to the new panels and maybe get one of the new dim-able drivers when they come out

I'm quite lucky as I got the unit off fleabay and it came with the extension cable so have run it as such. and I tested it out with my veggies in a small tent with the door cracked open and having the driver outside was a god send.

Although the heatsink definetly gets toasty to touch but not boiling.
