Day 49 (2.13.2022) - Twenty20 Mendo Snow-G (X-Factor) auto
Starting to see tacoing of the upper fans on one half of the plant past couple days. Put multiple humidity probes at different heights and locations in the tent to verify RH is in good range for VPD. Hoping I have it down to heat/light intensity or I may have overfed nutes (I go pretty hard so giving pH’d water for a day or two). I also don’t think heat/light because there are some lower branches that are sorta shaded that are tacoing, so I think it’s nute buildup (or pH…or both ha!).
Will be all MaxiBloom (I’ve been transitioning with a mix of Grow and Bloom) starting next nute feed. Giving full strength CALiMAGic + Big Bud + Bud Candy between feeds. Will start incorporating some pure water “flushes” to avoid overloading the coco. Did a lil more defol and tucking on the lower to mid portion after these pics.
Hard to get an overhead group shot, running out of room! Probably going to take her off the pot riser.
She’s slowly kicking out frost, started noticing around Day 47. New hairs popping fresh daily!

Hey AFN growmies! Almost lost a week, went out of town a few days so this will be a fun update 
Day 54 (02.18.22) - Snow-G auto (Twenty20 Mendo)
Took pics before leaving, gave a good feed and got Blumat Classics stuck two in (package says they deliver 75 mL each every 24 hrs), should’ve used all three! But I learned I need to think about investing in a decent automatic drip system for any traveling ha!
Still got bad tacoing on the upper fans, I removed the pot riser but they might still be too close. Keeping the BloomSpect SL600 dimmed to 40-50% and only going to 75% intensity max (only 1-2 hrs during midday with UV). Have the SS1000 that is about 98 W constant.
Day 57
Wasn’t home for the weekly pics, but arrived to find a very sad Snow-G (wife named her Dopey, a la Snow White’s G) :smoking: the Blumats lived up to the package, about 150 mL per day was gone from the jug but this wasn’t enough at all for 3 days away with coco/perlite/soil (50/30/20).
Was able to give a liter of water before lights out, 6 hrs later she was perking back up.
The main was throwing her arms up like “wtf mate I, this is jaxxed up!”
I think it adds a dope look to her though, looks rough and aggressive with great interior cabin space and comfy heated seats…wait what am I talking about?!
The branch in the back that doesn’t want to look like they’re part of the fam. This one was always away from high intense light, so has been kind of a “control” branch with the whole tacoing issue which made me think light intensity over pH or nute issue
Had forgotten to post these been busy catching up with life this week! Day 60 now and she keeps going no matter what abuse i’ve thrown at her this grow! Been cutting out the really beat up dead fans so she’ll look a lil prettier next update if I don’t do anything stupid until then! Thanks for stopping in and checking us out AFN growmigos!

Day 63 - Snow-G (X-Factor OG) auto
Been removing dead fans this past week and nearing the final MaxiBloom feed with about 28 days to harvest. Got AN Nirvana in the mix so i’ve been doing 1 L Silica Boost followed by 1 L GH MaxiBloom (2.5 g/L) with CALiMAGic, then 1/2 L distilled water once a week. In between it’s 1 L feeds of CALiMAGic + AN Bud Candy with either AN BigBud or AN Nirvana (alternates) and some distilled water rinses in between.
Only second grow so still learning what to trim early, some lower stuff i’d like to have chopped weeks ago but will leave to do a quick dry/cure and test when ready. Any real larfy lower stuff at harvest will get cured with trim to wash.
She photographs better with a lil flash IMO

Day 70 - Snow-G (X-Factor OG) auto by Twenty20 Mendocino
Not much to report, gave a final MaxiBloom feed at Day 67 (~3.5 weeks before expected finish). Growing in a small 2’x2’x4’ tent in the corner of a closet limits me from going to run off, so from my first grow results I know my plant has enough nutes to get to finish even if it goes long. I’m hoping my solution of cutting base nutes earlier than two weeks, then at two weeks cutting supplements (supply CalMag, low levels of P and K, and secondary nutes a lil longer after cutting base nutes), will allow a nice fade to harvest. Only one way to find out and learn for the next grow and beyond
Front left and middle front colas are the supercropped branches, the main cola is back middle (in line with the purple bungie.
and da beastie branch in da back…shoulda supercropped but enjoying seeing a relatively undisturbed branch develop, she’s about 3 ft long (will chop last a harvest and take pics to show the structure).

Finished giving AN Big Bud and Nirvana, as well as the Bloom City Si Boost. Removed the Bloomspect SL600 to reduce temps a little, running a Bloomspect SS1000 (~100W) and a 24W T5HO (3000K Bloom bulb from AgroMax), plus about 1 hr PureUV from a second T5HO at “midday”. Giving CalMag and light dose AN Bud Candy another day and then chilled pH’d water until harvest…not a flush in my case (no runoff cuz I can’t move the plant really at all) but my medium and plant get enough nutes built up to carry through the final weeks.

And technically my third grow but the very first I had to kill/toss the plant right at the start of flower.Not really that great for me tbh haha, but everyone has a diff profile they like. To me it’s like that ole’ family members house where animals have peed on the carpets before and carpets need replacing but they’ve tried to cover up the smell with lemon scented sprays (almost lemon Pez like)…yeah
Luckily hasn’t been loud on the nose yet but the last couple days i’ve been walking into where the tent is and it’s getting funkier.Forgot to say in the last post that I think the real win for this strain will be the cured flower, which is what i’m looking for anyways so my fingers be crossed at this point. This one wasn’t described to give off a super heavy scent by the breeder, but already planning to go noisy again with their Trizzlers next run
