I’ve been growing cannabis and collecting pure genetics from around the world since 1990. I learned the craft in the Mecca of Eugene Oregon. I have been breeding cannabis since 2004. I have amassed one of the finest collections of pure strains in US hands. Many of my genetics came directly from Neville in Amsterdam in the 2000’s. He would open up preserved older genetics from cups and things he liked. Some of these genetics came from the 80s and some from the 70s , a phenomenal Ashland Oregon “ true “ blueberry of tiny yield but monster flavor and a purple thai( blueberry is purple Thai and afghan kush) My other genetics came from traveling to Morocco ,and the Hindu Kush mountain range and many regions .im mostky a indica guy but love South African sativas . . I’ve bred many of my old genetics and pure strains and have an interesting list. NOW , I have worked on an autoflower strain ( or two ) . I have had (Matsu Valley ) Alaskan “ ruderalis “ which is a semi autoflower seeds since 1997 which I obtained in Juneau AK. I worked these genetics with my blueberry male for a few generations and now am doing a grow of my f4 breeding for the first time here. If everything goes well I’ll offer testers for folks to try. I hope the seeds I selected will make the grade. I’ve got the breeding down , but I’ll say it’s been wild to go fro photoperiod to auto growing. The blueberry I’m growing here likes nothing and in just using regular ROOTS soil . I’ve put some seeds in 3 and 5 gallon pots and may go outdoors or under a budget LED red spec 480 watt v2 in a 5x5.
Outdoor Coukd be fun what do you think?
Here are some pics of my photoperiod purple Thai and Pakistani chitral .

Cheers glad to be here ! I’ve been watching you all have so much fun I thought I’d try to become a part of the autoflower world.
Seeds popped in two days in paper towels and placed into roots soil. A few look leggy under a T5 , I may harden them and veg outside, then flower indoors . I am guessing fro years of experience this strain should test at a flat out 20% . My blueberry male produces potent material .

Thanks everyone! This is a cool crew here I can see it a a place of free knowledge you can’t just read about. Thanks for making me welcome
so here we are at the end of WEEK 2. You will notice some burn on the lead tips. Now in photoperiod strains I believe that a 5%to10% tip burn rate in flowering can mean your pushing the plant to the max of its flowering fert capability ( PPM’s. ) and therefore it’s an indicator to back off fert and that the plant is getting BOOMED w BLOOM.
However in this case it’s theROOTS regular soil which I love being a little hot this mix. I have used it before and not had this happen so the STRESS continues along with temps from 85- 90 and dry dry.
My blueberry is part purple Thai and Thai loves humidity. However the 80% indica from Afganistan and the hidden strain from a neighboring region that is its female thrives in dry hot climates .
Also , My purple Thai is a land race strain. My afgan is landraxe it did not run through Holland in the 90s, And my mystery strain in the mix from a neighboring region.( who’s is a part of a very famous strain that starts with O and is a kush :) )
Landrace genetics along with the Alaskan ruderalis HATE big PPMs and thrive in bio and compost tea/live earth settings. Because of the purity ( made by Mother Nature ) of the gebetics involved in this hybrid I would recommend adding more perlite with my 76 Bkueberry autoflower with a fert like roots. I would add even more perlite with something like Moonshine mix which is pretty hit for my Blueberry and autos in general I feel .
So I’m happy with the growth considering the temps , humidity in the teens and not even under the big light yet.

So out of the T5s tonite and I to the 5x5 tent ,
Thanks for your interest !

Oh BTW here are my photoperiod strains . I guess it should be In The photoperiod area but :) I’m pretty sure it’s up to date. Some are getting some age to them so always

If possible adding natural sunlight to your plants can really get you increased yields because of the close intermodal spacing fro the powerful light. You have tin” harden “ the plants by putting them in the shade for a day or two. i bring these in back after a few hours of direct sunlight a day. Be carefulll ! Always monitor the , the sun can take a seedling out in ten minutes if the sun is too intense.

Ok so I’m two days short of week three but have some time and wanted to talk about a few things.
I’m happy with the seedlings growth . For the record I dated 5 dem autos , one had the tap root come up from watering too hard( not using a sprayer) it knocked the poor girl back so far behind he’s sisters I took her out. :(.
so I have 4 going. Now my natural inclination looking at these is now is time for a light fert.I wish two were slightly larger but I’m picky, one pheno is super short and thick with nice thick leaves. One is tall and lankier and the other two aree in between. I say my natural inclination ( in photoperiods ) is to fert just as the plant has rooted well and in the soil about three weeks. The ROOTS regular soil was a little hit and we got some tip burn. I’m hesitant to fert but I think I will add a super light VEGAN fert I make part of and buy part of . I had a bunch of VEGAMATRIX kicked down for me for free from Kushman and it’s so light, gray for autos. I am supplementing that . I think the fert will be light enough to not stress but hey if my inclination is to fert others might be too so we’ll see if any fert stress knock them back. I feel like these are getting enough light to be pushed a little harder.
These plants are in 5s and 4s for perspective .
cheers
DON

ps . The tallest one has the most spacing between modes and when the stem is rubbed it has the most feels so far. My favorite the shortest with the most afghani traits is flatter smelling , the other two similar but a little stronger smell. The tall one has the staankness of skunk. my autos stink . They aren’t for stealth growing if smell is a factor. I’m getting excited. I’ve found a few folks to test , but this is my first grow as it’s happening with genetics I hope you all like. It’s nerve racking actually. But stinky seeds are great so I’m relieved. Thanks for the great response and see my thread under heirloom genetics in seedbank forum.
Have a great weekend everyone . I’ll be doing some outdoor gardening this weekend as well as getting these 1976 blueberry some natural sunlight to get as much veg as possible, My blueberry is a medium yielder but fast, Hoping to get some phenos with color.

Notice the tallest pheno is in the Tall 5 gallon while the shorter smaller phenos are in short 3 gallons. The node spacing is tighter wiith the short 3 gallons but I like the tall 5 gallon. Being a little root bound can make your buds tighter , but with super fast autos like my 76 blueberry, you want as much growth as possible, it’s all about the tap root .

So just noticed tonite at the end of week 3 two of the 4 are starting to flower. These blueberrys are fast and you loose some yield for that speed and flavor.l, once again two of 4 are starting to flower 21 days after the seeds first cracked the dirt. I hit them with a light vegan bloom fert to get em going . Speed wise I’m psyched for flowers starting a 21 days,

Two have that skunk smell when rubbed , hoping once the flowers get larger that skunk smell will have a smell that is fruitier. The leaves stems are showing color and it’s not stress. Also one pheno the stinky one is much larger. It’s the only one in the 5 gallon container, that tap root is important and not impeding it. However, the blueberry is part purple Thai and it does exhibit a pheno that is taller because of that generously. I will be able to tell if it’s because of the pot size , or if the purple Thai is shining through! But at this ponn in t I would recommend 5 gallon TALL pots with my 76 blueberry if you get some !

I’m going to base most of this on being in a 5 gallon pot but this is an interesting picture. The short stocky plant on the right has the profile I love but here is a good example of the afghani( right plant) and the purple Thai ( left plant exaggerated because of bigger pot. ) that are in my blueberry.
The taller plant also has more pistils already so well watch the yield and of course the flavor. Both phenos are outstanding with a consistency of flavor and high,

Wow the 5 gallon tall pot can really help yield. However the Taller “ purple Thai “ pheno and the shorter “ afgani “ pheno on the right are really showing. The taller pheno has more stink at this point.
If your auto flowers don’t stink, , stop using chem fert and go organic or vegan.Rethink your soil.
mom feeding these VEGAMATRIX with every watering but it’s so light and vegan it appears so far to be GREATFor autos because it’s so light. We’ll see how it works in flower .
I make my own Vegan fert but though I would try some vegan fert severing can get
Canna Bio is my favorite store bought for flavor but we’ll see if Kyle kushmans VEGAMATRIX cuts it. I feenits great for light feeders so far
Thanks for supporting me all if you !! I can’t wait for you to all to start them ASAP and give some feedback .
