My method. 1 unit = 2/3 of container.
I use 3 1/2 Gal pots.
50/50 mix of happy frog and ocean Forrest potting soil. For every unit add 1 cup of super soil mix ( eBay - search super soil ) 1 cup worm castings. Fill container 2/3 with this hot mix. Top last 3rd with 50/50 mix of happy frog n ocean Forrest. That's it. I never ever have any nute deficiencies or nute burn. (Note* I have perfect pH well water with a slight amount of limestone in it.).
