Well I had hoped my grow would be about finished around now when I first set out. My girl is on day 59 and still has to fatten up. Trics are still mostly clear. She is really big too. 95cm even with the supercropping, without it I estimate she would be in the region of 120cm. She is not over-stretched by any means, but she is lanky because I drew a sativa pheno. The sweet seeds + speed is marketed at 49 days and 50-90cm tall. I reckon these airpots do the job nicely.. maybe a bit too nicely for my space lol. Next run I will LST to make things a bit easier, unless perhaps she shows early growth of an indica dominant pheno. I will probably switch to flowering nutes earlier too, since i have almost 2/3 of a plant not producing due to low light penetration.

Here is the good part of the plant I broke the rules and trimmed a bunch her top fan leaves to increase penetration.

Good to see your girl is doing great man. Im going to be getting a couple of the same LED. 180watt UFO.

I definitely believe LST is a good idea, even with Auto's. Ive only had one Auto grow so far, and it was LST'd. From what Ive seen. LST is the way to go for a lot of auto strains. What do I know though heh.

Well my girl ripened really fast, much faster than I am used to. I found a few amber trics on the tops today, I don't want overripe bud so am going to chop the top colas tomorrow morning and leave the immature bits on a bit longer. I did't get time to cleanse the nutes properly but rather that than over-ripe.

She has went 68 days, which is pretty fast. Next run I will get the timing better.

I decided to check again properly. Upon closer examination of all the colas with the plant out from the tent, tric are about 2/3 cloudy, 1/3 clear. The only occasional amber tric I am seeing is when I cut off a little piece of sugar leaf from the tip of a cols to check under the scope. It's not a very good indication though of the ripeness of the whole flower though after I compare it with a proper examination of all the colas.

I will continue flushing and she will come down some time next week.

I harvested 1 of the smaller supercropped tops, I need the meds by middle of next week more than anything else. I cut off everything above the 90 degree angle from the supercrop. Leaving the bottom with about 1/3 more bud on it. It came out at about 10.5g wet, no stems. So I estimate 2.5-3 grams dry, From that, I reckon the whole plant will yield somewhere like 60g dry. 2 oscars is not too shabby at all. I am using the paper bag method to dry it.
