So, I bought a $5 clip on fan which I fit onto the end of it's own box and taped into place, and then taped a longer box to that, which I cut the flaps off and taped a carbon activated charcoal replacement filter to ($10) and that's that.

The entire house stunk, the ex wife (I get along with all my ex's) said she could smell the blue kush outside the door, then, she thought I got rid of the plants

I ran it for 2 days as I sat here, just to be sure there was no electrical fire

Funny we say pot doesn't make us paranoid, but the second we walk out the door, something in the growroom is going to start Chicago Fire II :D

I'm not going to advise anyone because there would be liability issues for myself and AFN, just showing how I did it

Oh, and I left the clip because I have it attached to a shelf above the lights and plants. It would be less clunky without it, but I like the versatility :)

That's rather nifty, where I'm from it would be called "ghetto fabulous" hehe. I uh, don't think it'd do much against a dozen Skunk or Cheese lol, but might just be enough for a couple Kush :)

I've also been thinking about those little carbon air filters for a micro grow experiment that I might never get around to lol. Specifically, they make these little ones about 5 inch by 10 inch for the tops of catboxes, I would think maybe a few of those stacked together, with a couple pc fans, might be enough for like a pc case sized operation. Looks like ya whipped up a bigger version there.

Y'know what? I went out and came home, and the closet is closed, 20 feet from the door, and I can smell the filtered air. It's actually very refreshing.

Yeah, I'd say it's good for maybe 5 plants, but I can see it also is taking the cigarette and cat odors out of the air as well :)

image.jpgimage.jpgRolled the plastic backing and used the other half of the filter, now have two and they work great. The plants stink when they are off

I just tucked it in the back

when I take the plants out in the morning for sun, they stink up the whole room in ten minutes. With the door closed in the closet, with these filters on, nothing :)
