AHHH I dont know why this is happening but its freaking me out...sooo there is like this blue coating on the underneath of my hood and I just realized that it has been coming off and sticking/burning to the clear part thats surrounding the light..WHY? I feel like this hood is crap...IS that blue stuff necessary on the hood...I have no clue what to do..Is this dangerous?? Please help me..."High Team Help Me"
Yes that's very dangerous; that's a film put on to help protect the metal from scratches and usually contains a very thin lubricant to prevent rusting in case it sits in a warehouse for a length of time. You're supposed to take it off and discard it before you operate the unit!!!
