Lighting 1st Journal - 6 Strains 300wLED 60x60x120cm Organic

Ok....tent is up...fan is connected...soil is mixed (though epsom salts and dolomite lime not arrived yet,will wait till tomorrow and then will start regardless)

While I still remember, this is the recipe:


2 gal canna terra professional
1 gal perlite
1 gal EWC
Ground egg shells (14eggs)
160g Agrafeed (comfrey, alfalfa, seaweed)
60g spent coffee
500g bat guano (1-10-1)
8helpings mycorrhizal (more will be added in seedling hole when planting)


As Mentioned, would LOVE to add 4tbl epsom and 4-6 tbl dolomite lime.


All in 1gal smartpots

The Courier has just given me a nice 19hrs surprise - I have the dolomite lime!

Ok, all mixed, tiny clumped soil pulverised, all potted and watered to saturation! jiffy plugs watered, broken up and a little topsoil made from them for the little one's nestling - thought it might help rather than start straight in canna terra, even though I have seen quite a few grows with nothing else now and no sign of burn so not overly worried

will check how pots are doing later tonight, but I have a feeling the little seeds might be getting covered tonight!

I will try get some photos up later on!

Went with High Density in the end, as the 7 Dwarfs seeds came together, I will enjoy a russian rouilette next time :-/

Ok....so i have come back home this evening....the light came on 10 mins ago...

We have day 1!!!! "Dancing Psiren"

They all have sort of waited for me to come back...three have got their stems bending through, the somango is still a little mound under the earth...i hope she was just being polite and shows herself like the others now i am home!


I have also got the new 300w light in there...atm it's at 55cm for seedlings....i have it on full blast just to c what temps do in 1 hr, but will put into veg only when off to bed


Also, somehow manages to keep the other leds in there too!! I shall have photos prob tomorrow...uploading them is a little mission.

OK, so High Density and Pink Graefruit showing their tiny little leaves....the others will prob finish making it through by end of sunshine

Oh...also added the contrast the new light makes!! I am feelign like this today!

DAY 3

The high Density and Pink Grapefruit look perfect, the Somango appears to have 2 tiny yellow things (almost like horns!) instead of the smaller 2 leaves...and the Krippleberry jas not put its leaves up. I shall give it another 6 hours, it looks ike it's almost there...but it might need a hand??? ohhh....maybe it's jsut too early to worry....but they are so small...!!! :dunno:

I have bad news....the Krippleberry didn't make it - I was really looking forward to it, shame :slaps:


So, all hail the replacement - auto flash!! hopefully it will come up before sunday, don't want too much of an age gap to her sisters!! :kusht:


All else seems good - did some fan testing, when it runs temps top out at 24.3degC and rh@81%. I am starting to see this drop even with fan off, as the pots dry up.

Are they ok?

I dunno, maybe it's just that they are still a little too moist and that is all...but they seem to have light green veins? The flash + LED Exagerratees the effect a little....is it just becuase they are still young?

I noticed the leaves on the High Density are slightly droopy...could it be just too moist in there?




The Pink grapefruit does not seem to be suffering

Also, the Somango seems to have no other leaves other that the round ones (sorry, the coty...something!!)

I am munching through the fingernails.....
