New Grower 1st time autoflower + LED - setup advice

Thanks Gloomshade very interesting post!

I see the tent doesn't fit with this setup.
Now i found this:

Modular box which i can configurate by myself.

I just thought about 2 rows a 5 plants. 4x 400W Mars II.
Built up the tent 80 x 180 x 200.
Maybe should work like that. The 700W Mars II would be even better, would get full coverage for sure but it also seeks much more power! I'm still not sure about this point 400W vs 700W.
Guess this config with 700W would be the best in this case.


Btw. do autoflowering or regualer (fem.) seeds give more yield?
I've just found this plant (http://sensiseeds.com/de/feminisierte-samen/sensi-seeds/northern-lights-5-x-haze-weiblich) and it seems to be really interesting to me!

What are the pros and contras automativ vs. regular?

I see, the smallest box is 120cm x 120cm x 200cm
In this case 3x3 plants would fit good with 4 x 400W Mars II i guess !

35cm each pot would make 105cm x 105cm for those 9 plants.
Manufactor site says 400W Mars II covers 3feet so lets count with 2feet coverage.
Does 120cm x 120cm so optimum coverage for that tent and all 9 plants!

I guess that's the solution

Im using 1x900w 1x700w and 2x400w in my 4x8 tent and they light the crap out of it.. if I could do it over I would get 4 of the 700s
The 900 puts out some descent heat and the 400s just dont cover that well because of the small square. 2x 700s in each 4x4 square would be what I would go with. If you look at my dark devil rdwc grow youll see what I mean.

I literally have one light over each plant and the 400s seem to cover about 2x2 area when flowering at about a foot or so off the plants. My advice would be also to keep the leds somewhat far for veg amd let them grow into the more intense light. Otherwise you might end up with little dwarve bushes of bud lol. Sounds good but loys of under developped buds due to lack of stretch
