Hello hello folks, Indy here! So, my order just arrived and I'm ready to get things rolling with my first DWC/SCROG grow! Normally I'd be nervous starting a new project like this, but this community has eliminated all of that.

My goal is to maximize the yield of this bad girl while also coming away with some quality smoke.

NOTE: I will not disclose specifics on anything regarding my orders, or where/how it was shipped.

I have two tents, 4'x4'x7', and 2'x4'x5'. One is for flower, the other for seedlings and veg. Until my next grow I will be using a 600w Hps light which will later be replaced by an LED (Mars Reflector series more than likely). For nutes I'll be using GH Flora Nova Grow & Bloom, Canna Rhizotonic, and Canna PK. KISS method in full effect. As I progress through this I may need to try different things, but for now this will suffice I'm sure.

I'm still working on the specifics of my SCROG net. I'm not sure if I want to suspend it via rope hangers or make it a standalone device. So, this brings along my first series of questions; Should I make my SCROG net a standalone unit, or suspend it by the rope hangers? Also, at what height should the plant be before the net is added?

I will have pics posted by tomorrow (Hopefully), and I will be germinating this lady tonight in a cup of lukewarm water with a squirt of Canna Rhizotonic.

Hi IndianaJones,

I grow in RDWC system under a SCROG net. A few things to look out for in DWC are listed below, sorry if you already know and I am teaching you to such eggs

1.. keep light out of your water system this will prevent any algae growth.
2. Keep water temps between 18 to 20 degrees.
3. At least 5 litres per min of air to each bucket.
4. I would recommend using a good bacterial additive for root growth and protection. I use biolink plus.
5. Keep ph between 5.2 and 5.7
6. I also use the LUCAS formula for my nutrient programme with a little silicone and some magnisium crystals plus ph up and down. I don't run to the stated levels I look to see what the plants are needing and adjust as necessary.

Try growing under a curved screen it gives better results it's called a BOG screen.
Don't suspend the screen unless it's quit weighty as the plants tend to push the screen up over so mine is held securely.
The screen can be at various heights. I have mine about 6 to 7 inches in the middle and it curves up over to the side by about 4 to 5 inches. So its about 12 inches at the sides.

I put my plants under the screen when they are about 8 inches tall possibly a tad taller, basically as soon as you want to start training them. Prior to going under the net I begin lst to get all the branches growing better.

Anyway if you want any advice drop me a line and if I can help I will.

Happy growing stay safe cain1
