Gudday dear AFN members,
been reading here for a while now & you are doing a great job keeping the site maintained. So thanks for doing that, even without being registered it offers great help.
Now to my..

Problem: Shiny, hanging leaves, curling up (and down), slighty brown spots on one of two plants, please see additional info below

Medium/grow method:
just growing them earth

Feed: and supplements used:
none at all, only water

water source:
from the tab, provider says
pH at 20°C is 7,32, i have no possibility to confirm (yet, probably gonna have to buy something after the first few of your answers)

Strain/age:
Sweet Mango Auto, week 7

light used:
first 6 (!! fck me) weeks some fluorescent tube (they would still start to flower), then switched to 288W GC9 Cluster LED

Climate:
mostly around 23 degrees Celsius and humidity at around 45-50%, sometimes it drops

Additional info:
Actually this is my first indoor grow, been trying outdoors before. Two plants we are talking about, both something like sweet mango auto from GHS (bought them seeds about a year ago, had no chance to use them earlier). Honestly had no perfect conditions from day one, so i am not wondering they aren't in the stage they should be at. They only get water from the tab, no additives wether synthetic n'or organic and are on a 18/6 hrs light schedule - both plants exactly the same. I water them every four days until i got some of the water coming out. Activated Carbon Filter running.
From what i found out, it might as well be a nitrogen toxicity, only they have no dark green but are rather a bit lighter then the other plant plus as i said i don't feed them, so where would too much nitrogen come from?
I wouldn't be so surprised if this would happen to both plants, as they share everything - but it doesn't.
My next guess would be a phosphorus or potassium deficiency, tho no leaves turned yellow yet and i don't want to add any food until someone confirms.
Very grateful for all the information you can give on this, i couldn't find someone who does not feed and has this trouble.

IMG_5311.JPG something (tiny) grown in the pot aswell

Edit: if adviced i got this stuff to use:
-Organic Bloom Liquid
-Big Fruits
-More Roots
from green buzz; friend gave it to me, never touched as i wanted my grow as natural as possible

Your plants don't look that bad but you should get a ph meter and try and lower your ph closer to 6.5.Even growing organic you stil need some soret of nutes to have a heathy plant. Also you should be using cal/mag when using led lights to prevent lockout. Also keep your light no closer than 18 inches from the plants during flowering.

Attend to pH first... then supplement... there are a lot of nute lines out there that comply with the OMRI listings.

Your ph should be down in the 6.2 to 6.5 range...

I run a calcium based line that's organic, and being calcium carried, the ph requirements are higher. I run up to 6.8 in flower.

Ph is not a linear measurement, it works like a sizemograph... in factors of 10. So seeing a swing can be a lot bigger than thought.

thanks for the advice
gonna jump and get one of those in the morning
are you sure about the 18 inches?
my room isn't that big n'or high unfortunately, also i read because of the low heat you can bring them very close to the plants - that is only in veg then?

It's good to know about the possibility of calcium base on organic grows, cheers!
going to update after pH regulation

I start seeing signs of light stress closer than that... to be honest, I don't really worry about light height till I hit flower. Light is were it ended on the last run... About 4 ft. The white thing is a temp probe... it hangs down 18 inches... I move till it's at canopy level.

Guys sorry for not being online for a while (kinda forgot my password until today, found it on a piece of paper in my storage box)
I adjusted my grow, following your tips and it turned out awesome
Was really all about the PH and light distance. So THANKS again for your advice and the warm welcome words + the hug from hairyman

Tent temperature isn't what causes light burn. Right now, it looks like that might be part of the problem.
