Lighting 2 Autocobs, 3 Toof Decay, 1 gal pots with drip stakes..

Btw, I also plan on shutting the cobs off for the last 2-3 days of flush. I have a feeling the small 1/2 gal containers will make the plants yellow faster than normal..another reason I opted to reduce the strength at beginning of the flush, instead of going straight water right away. I will take pics in 1 week, on harvest day. Super impressed with how these did. The main Colas are big, Frosty and dense. All of the side buds bulked up nicely. I will see how much the side buds yield, they are nice...but my plan for the 6 Sour Cracks is to totally lollipop them each. Single Cola stlye. I have grown Sour Crack before. You can get a branchy/taller pheno. I have plenty of space, but I kinda just want to see what happens when I force them all To be single cola. Just like I wanted to see what these 1/2 gal could do to restrict plant size for me. My experiment worked perfectly, and I am confident in the near future you will see some nice yields out of the 1/2 gal pots!

These plants almost grew themselves, just keep the rez filled as needed. There is only 1 problem with this small of a set up. Using 1/2 gal pots, they will dry out or flood much faster than a 2gal pot obviously. If anyone wants to try automating 1/2 gal pots of Coco, never let the pots dry out. Adjust flow/flood times to keep moist always, never attempt to have a dry pot. Moist, with minimal runoff is ideal. Salts build, roots die quickly, and plants fan leaves can droop/dry out if you let the pots dry out, even just ONCE. ALWAYS have flow valves before each pot to adjust flow if needed. I prefer 4-6 on/off cycles, with shorter flood times. This ensures the pot stays moist and reduces risk of excessive runoff. However, if you have a flood tray that sheds the runoff water...you do not need to worry about runoff and can adjust flow up if desired.

Great advice slow. It's all this first hand info that will help hundreds of people. Makes perfect sense too. Especially in the smaller pots. Letting them dry is almost instant death to the roots. What gpm pump are you using? What kind of timer?

Sea of main colas lol. That's going to save you a bit of time trimming. I'd bet you could easily pull 1oz buds off each one, then to have a dozen inside the smaller space really makes it worth it.

I will check on the pump info, it is small...the timer is a digital timer that adjusts by the second. I believe I placed a link for both earlier in the thread, but will relink them. I am not sure what I will yield off of these, but I actually think 1.5 -2.0 oz is totally achievable. My intentions when buying a few hundred Mephisto seeds was to have a SOG style grow, so this will be sweet.

Here is the small pump, https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01NBKNG4K/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This is a good timer.

Just letting everyone know my flushing is going well. Going to crank up the flow just a little to get more runoff. 4 more days, then CHOP. Will be excited to share harvest pics they are nice little plants. Super impressed for being in 1/2 gal pots. They smell more citrus like compared to Sour Crack. I can a
Smell the Walter White in them, way different than Sour Crack smell. The [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] White Crack is very Sativa like smelling, grapefruit like smell. I have a feeling that most of the White Crack nugs will be consumed by myself! I need a pick me up strain, almost all of the Mephisto strains I have ran are heavy Indica Buzz. We shall see, I will be able to test some in a week.

Here is one of the day White Cracks preharvest. The pot next to it was a Sour Stomper in 2gal pot that I chopped today. I had 8 Sour Stompers. Started 13 more a few days ago.

:WTF:
That is one hell of a plant for such a small pot my man. A cute pink one to top it off lol. What do you reckon the yield will be? I absolutely love what you are doing. It's probably the most cost effective way to grow and the time you have invested is probably 1/4 of what anyone else does. Sticking 12 of those in a 4x4 with 4 cobs on a drip system is absolutely nuts. Gpw is probably through the roof too.

Thanks Big! I had 2 more just like it in the little tent. Just so everyone knows, those buds are very dense. Almost no waste. By far the fastest trimming plants ever! This was my very first attempt with such small pots. But my vision when purchasing a few hundred Mephisto seeds was to run SOG STYLE GROWS. Until now my so called SOG strains were grown in 2gal pots, far from SOG SIZED plants! I don't know what the GPW will be on these 3, but I can tell you that it looks pretty damn good for 110watts! I am guessing they are about 1 1/2 oz each dried. I don't really care about the GPW on these 3, as they were my first attempt. What I do care about is that it worked, well. Now I have 6 Sour Cracks in the same space as the 3 White Cracks. I will lollipop them, so there will be little or no side branches on the next ones.
I set up the 6 Sour Cracks the other day on drip stakes. I had slightly more runoff on the middle 2 plants today, I turned those 2 down minimally...but they have been doing their job perfectly. My pressure compensating drip hose may solve tweaking issues in the future, should be here in a week. I am confident that this new method is going to open some eyes. Almost maintenance free and excellent yields. I use 1/4 the amount of Coco per plant. So the savings balances out the extra cost of running more seeds in the same space.

Your past opening people's eyes. I was never one for sog growing but this is definitely exceeded my initial impression of it. 100 plants in red solo cups in a 4x4 is just ridiculous. Pulling 1.5 oz plants that trim in minutes with minimum overhead is another story.

Honestly Big, I have been growing a VERY long time. I have grown hundreds up on hundreds of plants, all photos til I found this site. Never ONCE attempted a SOG, with hundreds of CLONES!!! My idea of SOG is not using 100 solo cups start to finish. That's too much work to keep up with. But these 1/2 gal pots seem like a decent fit for some smaller strains and Coco if you want to control the size. Which I want to do. I think maximum yields for certain strains doesn't necessarily mean larger pots.
