Hi friends. After taking the summer off the grow room is back up. I have 2 HBSS going. Both are in 5 gallon equivalent Super Roots Airpots. I am using my usual Potters Gold Soil. I am using a T-5 110 watt light for a few days, then I switch out the light with a 400 watt HPS. I may add an LED light in the future if I think I need more light. That will be decided later on. 1 plant is 6 days old today and will be fed the General Organics lineup of nutrients. The 2nd plant is a new sprout today. This is in @gbd / Mephisto soil mix. I mixed half the pot, approximately 1.8 gallons of soil and 2 scoops of the soil mix. It will be fed water and I will be using CaMg also. I haven't decided on any tea feedings or other ammendments. I'd like to use as little as possible just to see how it does without too much extra stuff. My only concern and probably isn't a problem, is todays sprout seemed smaller than what I'm used to seeing. I'm not saying that the soil had anything to do with that, it doesn't. I just hope it's a healthy normal plant for a fair comparison.Both seeds were planted directly to soil, no pre soaking. Each took 3 days to sprout. Updates will be weekly until they start taking off. Thanks for stopping by.
