Day 38 from sprout, day 18 from first pistils, they're short, but I guess that's mostly due to LED keepin em' squat (node spacing is extremely short). Buds look pretty decent (I would guess- never done autos) for this age and they are loving the water. Check out those roots! I'd think there's about 40 days to go. One of the pics doesn't do the little one justice she has plenty of bud hiding in that Christmas tree frame.
EC: 1.5
Nutes: GH lucas, H2O2, Hygrozyme, Silica (100 ppm). Occasionally a squirt of SM90 for some citrus-y freshness.

The one with many branches is about 1 foot tall.
The little one is about 8 inches but extremely bushy...

So what do you guys think? What kind of yield could I expect with 40 days left?

Shes looking great! What brand and model of LED are you using? I have no idea about yields through sorry, just on my first grow myself.

Its the hydrogrow penetrator 300 watt... not the new "x-lens" but one of the originals. One watt diodes. Finished a couple of grows with it, bagseed soil though. The yield was ok, but nothing like when I was doing DWC, so I decided since LED's don't have that great of penetrating power to try auto's with it. The easy ryders are supposed to be good yielders so I got them. Guess I'll just have to wait and see.

when i grew out easy ryder she had to distinct phenos one short and squat and the other much taller, i grew in soil so in dwc i couldn't really tell you on yield but i'd guess around 18-22gr on smaller one and 20-30 on bigger one, but that all depends on the light temp etc...

also foil causes hot spots if you can replace that with some mylar or just something white you'd be better off

Thanks. Next grow I was gonna switch it out for some panda film or something. The joint doctor said yields were usually 25-40 grams in soil and typically double in hydro, but these plants are pretty small. Not sure why except I think the LED chips have lost a lot of intensity as the leaves are small too. After this grow I will either start doing 4-5 autos in smaller buckets (have 3.5 gallon right now) or sell this light and go back to a switchable 600 watt digital. Plants seem to enjoy a single ultra bright light source instead of smaller lights spread out IMO.

LEDs do have the pentrating power but its your 1 watt diodes thats holding that up. 3 watts are about the average vendors are selling now. They also have 5 watt LED panels out (own a Solarstorm and Solarflare :) )

are you sure you don't have the light too close?
could be the strain but you have next to no internode spacing so there is little room for flower development?
i guess there are alot of short auto's though

I'm torn between two worlds on that one. Deep in the canopy the flowers are still thick and bushy. During early veg I had it at 12" and I think that's why they didn't stretch much. I moved it to 36" the last 5 days of veg and the branchy one stretched about 4 inches. The christmas tree pheno barely stretched at all. I guess I should have left the light really high to get them to stretch. Right now I'm worried to move the light up because I'm afraid I will lose too much light at the buds that are forming. These 1 watt diodes are not the best, but with DWC hopefully I can get some decent yield still.

Day 39 non LED cola pics

Day 39 pics. Here's a few non LED shots of main colas. A little out of focus sorry. They are a little thicker then a lighter (christmas tree plant is about as thick as a coke bottle in center.) Gave them fresh water today. Tomorrow I will force feed the shit out of these bitches, aiming for about 1.9 EC 200 PPM phosphorous, 250 ppm Potassium, 120 calcium, 40 magnesium and about 100 nitrogen with 100 silica. Going for a little tip burn :hot:
There's like 300 tiny ass leaves lol. Not a single huge fan leaf, but hey its gets the job done.

5 watt diodes?? I saw that 200 watt solar flare for 400 bucks. Man I should have waited. Jumped on the bus too early. Bet you that thing has some NICE penetrating power.
