New Grower 2nd grow! opinion wanted

hey guys, ive just started my second grow and since im still a newbie just wanted your opinion.

im growing buddha seeds purple kush(left) and barneys farm pineapple express(right) they are only a 7 days old but i just wanted your expert opinion.

Your girls look fine for there age.The only concern I have is the metal cans you are using.Your the first person I have seen use them and i'm not sure if ther the best way to go.The metal might react to your nutes along with rust and that might not be a good thing.Lets wait and see other opinions on this and see what happens.

I think I would be worried about getting them out of those cans when you transplant them in a larger container.

thanks for the opinion. just wanted to see seeing that its first time growing these strains. the containers imo are fine to use, there not all metal its just the rim you can see and the bottom. i used the same type for my first grow and got 2 pretty good plants. both seedman auto kush and both roughly 60 cm tall and 20g for 1 and 24g the other.

so thanks a lot for the opinions. i ll try post some more pics along the grow

edit: i use these small containers because i have very little room to grow.

I would have the same concerns. Also are there any holes poked in the bottom for drainage

Yep, that was gonna be my question. Sounds like you have had success with them once but a couple of plastic pots from your local nursery would be much safer. That is just my opinion.

yep... i drilled a few holes before i started.

and of course i share the same opinion as you guys, plastic pots are obviously the first choice... and even though there really cheap, i just use stuff from around the house. so far its worked out well. hopefully its not just pure luck.

Looking good to me. Those containers are fine IMO. Waste not want not and it worked for you before. Over a half per plant in that container and being a nube is awesome. Pat yourself on the back and keep growing.

What mix, nutes, and lights do you use?
Box or tent or what?
