Well guys and girls i said that autopots were like hydro growing and here is the proof.i have a gold disc in the bottom of the pot and a gold disc in the tray to stop the roots coming out of the pots but yet again it has not worked

Hey dude I'll check later for you :D
It's our first run with them, I will say so far it seems when left to their own devices they really drink a lot, and stay on the wetter side of the spectrum. Just my 2p thusfar

Looking very nice in here though!

No I haven't had that issue bro and I just use the one disc inside the pot gold side down... Maybe yours got shifted a bit when you filled up the pot.

Welcome bro

You will love the autopots just so simple.i was looking at those biotabs as well for when i try organic and with just water in the rez that would be even easier
Biotabs??? Would be awesome if i could use nectar for the gods with the autopots probably be a mess

You can use any feeds or additives you want with AirPots/AirDomes, as long as you feed manually.

I've been using AutopotsAirDomes with complex hydro-natural nutrient mixtures for several grows now. This involves doing everything totally manually -- I don't use either a reservoir or the AutoValves -- just manual bottom feeding with aerated water/feed. I regularly mix Adv. Nutr. Mother Earth Super Tea, algae/kelp, Terpinator, Bud Factor X, Bud Candy, Microbial Munch or CarboLoad, beneficial microorganisms, Nirvana, and/or other not so reservoir-friendly (when all mixed together) organics in with my Adv. Nutr. base nutrients. This mix would quickly go bad (ferment) if stored in a reservoir.

Manual feeding with AutoPots/AirDomes allows me to use any organic additives I want, while keeping feeding much the same as if I were doing normal top-feeding with coco, other than bottom feeding. My results seem to be better than with AirPots, so right there I'm very happy. But I don't get the large monster plants, like many get using the AutoValves for feeding.

I manually fill the Autopots (with 24/7-running AirDome; set up according to co. instructions) with 300-500 mL of feed in their reservoir, and it generally gets sucked up with an hour, sometimes much faster. From there, the pots can either be topped-off, kept at a desired level, or allowed to go dry then filled again. I generally stop refilling when the hydroton/coco stops sucking-up the water. Feeding usually involves 2-3 doses -- easy with just 6-7 plants. I generally feed every 18-24 hours, when they feel light. This is much the same as I would be doing if I were doing normal top-feeding with coco, other than here I am bottom-feeding and the AirDome presumably adds some oxygenation.

Too me manually feeding would take the auto out of autopots... May stick to remo nutes for autopots and another set up run nectar.. I was definitely impressed with nectar I just haven't got it dialed in yet its a whole new ballgame...
