Ive been having big temp issues. Its been up and down , hitting 30 and geting to 20 too. 2 bubble, a Kaya and Sweet were not coming up. Went to a friends to have a blaze as I was in agony, came back, got impatient and dug up the seedlings. nothing there. It is as tho they have vanished. Found one seed mushed. :jaw:

They failed to germinate and rotted. Maybe they were too cold. Or got drowned with water. Try and get a heating pad for sprouting this can help. You will have to plant more beans unfortunately.:karma Cloud:

The soil wasnt water logged - quite dry. And under polythene were getting to 30c. i think it was temp change that did it. Ive set more off today. Then i blew my MH bulb. Had to put red HPS till get a new mh. Will take a week as all deliveries at mo being stupidly slow. Will my seedlings 2" high be ok for meantime ??? problems come in 3's looking for next one !!

I don't know about the heat pad... I do know the reptile ones can burn stuff, I use one for your back that is adjustable. Any light should be OK for seedlings as long as its not too close.

Heat mats are great but need a thermostat so seedlings are not cooked...
I use a simple cheap thermostat plug for mine..:group:

I have been putting my seeds to germinate on top of the wifi box/sky box for a while now. it gives off a gentle heat and saves buying heat pads
