Live Stoner Chat 30% more yield/Indoor grow advise

Is this information purely, across the board similar for autos as well? Or does a certain, different level of damage/plucking slow things down to a higher degree (incrementally speaking)?

For instance....does the "do it all at once because a plant can generally recover overnight" still apply?

No it dose not apply........

this isn't a defoliation thread.soo, just imo this can be applied to all cannabis plants to one degree or another, even Autos.but as we know autos are far more sensitive sooo less is more. This is just a method that I and many many others use with excellent results.sooo, I wanted to share.be well everyone."AFN smoke out"

i used the method for 20 years and thought i was getting great results too , until someone taught me better THANK GOD

I'm doing it to limited degree and not all at once...anything just not getting light down below is going once it gets too droopy and shady and then very selectively around the middle for clearance of specific secondary limb tops. The rest is just lots and lots of tucking....:)

I guessed not....

ANY time you pluck a leaf off a plant it produces stress hormones (this is biologically PROVEN)

is that something any of you want to do intentionally ?

thats just a very VERY small fraction of the reason why this is NOT a good idea

nuff said ,,,, again lol

You can't believe every thing you read but I remove some not all of the lower leaves that do not get any light but not until the plants are bigger.I have tried leaving all the leaves on but found that I get a better yield when I remove some leaves. It's something to try if you have enough plants and see if it works for you on one plant and make up your own mind if it works or not.

one thing i will say is this , lower fan leaves do feed the roots , if anyone doesnt believe me google it , however , we do a fine job feeding the roots nowadays with additives , this does not hold true for the rest of the plant , we NEED photosynthesis and we just do not get it in the ammount we should when relying on the sugar/bud leaves

peace

oh yeah , nuff said , again lol

One of my auto blue berries main cola got snapped by mistake... When I taped it up the buds seemed to get bigger almost over 48 hours, but I'm guessing this is because the plant dispatched the nutrients else where to keep it going, so maybe there is some truth in this... Not sure about others though

well where you loose me is here,is because if you take off say three or four chosen sun leaves to open up a better source for the small leaves underneath it, at the base of the flower(s) stem why does that not (to a degree)somewhat equal out for photosynthesis and production for the feeding of light to newer healthy growth? And if I may add Low Stress Training is induced stress for a yielding purpose aspect of growth.so taken into account is that its all one in the same depending on your grow styles and belief system of growing."AFN smoke out""AFN smoke out":vibes:"AFN smoke out""AFN smoke out"

because 85% of the light hitting a leaf is passed through the leaf and a fan leaf has a far greater surface area then bud/sugar leaves

just because it looks dark to us bellow a fan leaf does not mean it looks dark to the plant , most of the beneficial light for plants is not even visable to us

this is all proven long before any of us were born

edit, lst= more veg time or else you do not gain anything , how much do you actually gain in a year when each harvest takes more time to reach ? i could lst every crop and get 4 crops a year , or i could just let them grow naturally and actually fit more plants in the space that finish faster and get 6 crops a year (numbers are just hypothetical)

food for thought
