Recommended light distance for LED (marshydro) in germination is 24" to 30". Veg stage: 18-24". Flower stage 12-18". I'm in flower and one plant is 10" from the light and the other plant is 9" from the light. I've watched closely for any heat stress or bleaching, but so far so good. Maybe moving it further away might encourage stretch? My first plant didn't grow much during veg, but it's hard to know whether there wasn't enough light or the light was too close. I started with 1 x marshydro 300w and when I added a second light, growth seemed a lot better

I wouldnt worry about it too much. Move the light up and just keep doing what your doing.
