Grow Mediums 385W CFL 'Think Different' DWC cab grow

I used a variable power supply that I just wired to the fans, by increasing or decreasing the amount of watts supplied it would make the fan go quicker or slower. Sorry for late reply.

And thanks man I'm just about to start my next grow now, and going to be using LED too. Decided to buy a tent this time though.

Just a real wicked grow, great job, now jus by looking at this grow make me wanna go to dwc!! Right now I'm undecided on dwc or coco... The main prob is I wanna do a scrog because of height....its a 5'H tent. ( tent is 2.5D x 4.5L gonna run 2 plants! ) When u factor in bucket, u lose 14" automatically. Then plant height, or in this case where scrog net should start....then light height above canopy, (in this case will be using a 700w led per bucket or pot) so the closet the panels can get to canopy with correct coverage is 12". SO, my question after all that is , how tall did she get so I can determine if she can just grow without scrog in DWC or put em 2gal fabric pots wid coco/perlite via drip sys and scrog em'...looking for biggest yeild in my space. Hi upto, I'm growing (if you can call it that) DWC in 26" of vert. space with a 700W light. If you choose your plants right I think you've got plenty of space.

Hey buddy. Appreciate the compliments even so long after i cut her down.

Well, in my DWC bucket the plant must have been only a little taller than the bucket itself, so overall imagine it got about as tall as 2 of those buckets stacked on top of each other. Height really wasn't an issue if im being honest, the best advice I could give you if you're going the LED route I would just say wack that panel right at the top of the tent, and a bit of side lighting is never a bad thing either. I've never actually used the SCROG method as i've always found using LST very effective with autos, but if you want to keep it low and bushy; once its a few weeks old pull that middle branch right down and tie it, then do similar with the rest of the branches.

Annoyingly I had to remove most of my photos from this grow, but this is what it looked like when I LST'd my TD:



Anyways, to answer your question as you can see from the pictures mine did not get that tall. By keeping the lights close to the plant throughout veg caused it to grow with very closer inter nodal spacing, and with the added training, once i tied her down a lot of vertical growth slowed down and the branches really thickened up, as well as leveling out the canopy - which I also imagine helped distribute where the plant sent her energy to.
