Lighting 39V 2.1A COBs good/cheapish drivers?

I chickened out and just ordered the A version for simplicity. Might not be the brightest spark myself but at least I'll have a fuck bright light.

wayward go on ebay and type in 100k pot and get a 10k as well or you wont get full brightness when you crank it up
to full

So with just my 100k pot i am not getting the full brightness from my cob ?.can you explain why bro please

2Stoned the 100k pot when fully on only stops around 95 % of the dimming voltage plus the hlg B drivers give a little bit more
when the dimming wires are not connected in any way
I haven't tried it myself (with and without the 10k resistor ) its just what I picked up off the folks on riu and youtube
if you skip forward to 3 min 30sec he tells you that unconnected you can get upto 105% of power

or you could look on riu (I'll not add a link don't want to be told off)

Thanks for that info bro i will try mine without the pot when my girls are flowering to see if there is more light output.just got a cheap lux meter and my diy cob at 30inch is pushing out 35,000 lux

Well i just checked mine at 18inch which is about the height i will use in flower and the center of the light is 55k lux and 50k on the edges :drool:
