3xMazar & 3xSweetSkunk Balcony
Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum and new to autoflowering grows too. I've planted some no name guerilla stuff many years ago and I was not smoking or growing the herb since. I'd like to start again and I'll bee very happy to get any info I can get from you, experienced growers, because the business changed a lot.
Whatever, I have quite a modest plan: just 6 plants in 2 harvests during this year on my balcony. I don't smoke much anymore. The balcony is almost invisible (2nd floor of a family village house), but still close to a place where some people can smell it (I hope they won't). The smell makes me a little nervous, but I hope I'll manage somehow. If you have any ideas how to lower it during the flowering period, I'll appreciate... I was thinking about ONA gel, but so far it's ok.
I have a plan to go as easy as possible and I already did a few first steps. Here we go:
I've planted the first plant I nicknamed Guinea pig (Sweet skunk from Sweet seeds, Spain) very early (30. 3.) for my latitude (N49, central Europe) because the weather seemed pretty nice and I had nothing to smoke and I was a little impatient
Next two girls (Auto Mazar, Dutch passion) went in at the end of April...still quite early, but I think it's just right for the two harvests in my conditions.
I've planted them into 0,5 liter cups filled with pre-fertilized soil up about their half and non fertilized soil in the second half for the first few days as babies. They've enjoyed their childhood on the window sill and from time to time I've been putting them out on the balcony when the weather was fine (sometimes using a micro home made greenhouse made from a plastic bottle with ventilating holes made by a nail). All of them were replanted into big pots (8, 12 and 10 liters) during the beginning of May. Since then, they're enjoying outdoor 24h.
Concerning nutes, they got what the soil has for growing and they'll get some bio stuff made from chicken shit for bloom (NPK 5-10-5).
Technically, I don't care much about the hardcore stuff, going more old school, I'm only lowering PH of my well water from cca 7 to cca 6 (using the cheap drops for measuring).
That's how they were doing last two weeks, I intend to post a new pictures during this weekend, since they've made quite a progress because of the weather getting better:
