Lighting 4 cobs!

Just a quick question. I've read one cob per plant. Is that something to really go by for a fact? Just wondering cause I have 4 in a 5x5 tent. I know I need about 5 or 6 more cobs if I was going to fill the tent. Soons I can afford it I will. But for now should I just stick with the 4 or could I add one or 2 more plants to the mix?

There are several variables that go into figuring out how many plants to run in a certain space. Pot size, medium used, growing style (dwc, hydro ect), the genetics being ran and tbeir potential size, ect. Ive ran one autocob over one plant in a big pot.. I've also ran several 1 gallon pots under one cob, as well as two 2 gal pots under one cob. I've done three 3 gal pots under 2 cobs.. There is no right or wrong answer, but certain things factor in.

Well I guess it's great that I have 7 foot 11 inch ceiling in the tent! Lol I'm using promix soil, with foxfarm nutrients. But I'm still in the process of germination. Do people run into Damping off often with cannabis seeds?
