Notice? What specifically are you posting about?Anyone notice that? 50% amber, 50% clear... and no cloudy trichs.
Curious...are we looking at sugar leaves to determine harvest?.They seem to amber first, I don't go by those. I go by the calyx trichs..I randomly look at stalks.. top ,middle ,bottom buds. I have learned to harvest tops first , because of course they will maturate fastest, and let lowers ripen up for another week or so.Everybody says to harvest when "___ %" of trichomes are "amber." (fill in the blank)
Trouble is that trichomes are hard to interpret.
Some of us have a lot of trouble distinguishing clear from cloudy from amber.
Better for me is to look (no magnification) at the tint of the trichome sheen on the sugar leaves: silvery sheen = clear trichomes, milky sheen = cloudy trichomes, slight gold sheen = some amber.
When the plant looks ripe, I get out my magnifying glass, look at trichomes, and still wonder what to do.

I wonder if an intense light cause all those amber trichs maybe? Or high heat? Or something else?
when i first got a magnifier, i had like 20% amber and 80% clear.
just a 1,5 week later it was like 25 to 30% amber, and around 35 % cloudy and 35% clear..
i thought ; ah, screw this. and chopped her right away
I realize this is a couple months old, but I'm new here and my curiosity is piqued!
What was the strain?
What were the effects of the dry flower? Was it significantly different than the usual (if you have previous experience with the strain) or the described effects per seed bank description/reviews?
Inquiring minds and all that.
Happy growing!
