Lighting 5x5 - and $300 budget

I would get the 1216's bro... U get that 90cri and the drivers will be cheaper, also as those chips are new you will know your getting gen 6 chips.. Now if they had 1812's or 1818's in 90cri that were gen 6 i would say that would be the best way, but as u stated u would be over budget... Those 1216's are pretty cool.. I started a thread on them awhile back, should be in the threads list, lower voltage draw, higher efficiency... 1216's bud, i think you'll be very happy..
Cheers

Remember the 75usd shipping from kingbrite...
The citizens cobs they have are gen5, am about surprised they got the 1216 90cri, they only had 3590 in 90cri for quite while..
As always with Alibaba they will write you a bill of 10bucks for the customs :)
Yeah, in my instance, they taxing $100, dollars for shipping alone, which I do not mind one bit.
*******
Naughty I know, but oh well

Hell yeah, I am taking 8 x 1216 the CRI90 chips for that little bit extra over the 1212 I think it should work pretty sweet
I ended up taking an additional 2 x 1212 for my current light that I have (got 2 x 1212 on a 185-1400b so I will complete that setup and frame it nicely)
So in total I am going to be in for like $480 quite a way over the budget.
