Yes tuning in is the biggest turn off... especially with 1/2 gal pots. They dry out faster obviously and they run through faster obviously. But to be honest, it isn't hard to dial them in. And it saves a SHIT ton of time and water/nutes. Plants that have wet/dry cycles that require large amounts of water at once use much more water during growth cycle. A jug of water lasts 2-3 times as long for me when used in an automated system vs handwatering.
