Growing in soil. Using General Hydro Flora 3 part series. Everything with this plant has been great up until today. I noticed the bottom leaves are really droopy and flaccid looking?

I have another plant that started to show Cal/Mg deficiency and started using distilled water + supplements to correct that, but this plant never showed any spots on the leaves or anything like that.

Any ideas?

I'm hoping that's it. Sort of what I came up with too. I did a light water a couple days ago. Soil meter was showing on the dry side, but I didn't think they were this bad. I've been trying to not to overwater, and so far, it's been fine. Maybe they're just more particular during flower?

Pick your pots up right after you do a full water. Get a grasp on the weight of the pot and feel the weight of a well watered pot. When they get light water them. You will get a feel and understanding what i mean when i say light when you do it. Its not that its particular in flower, they drink what they want when they want.

You're right. I've been so afraid of over-watering, that maybe I've not watered enough. It's not as easy as it looks, that's for sure. But, the knowledge you guys are are sharing is a huge help. Thanks.

I would also suggest putting a fan on them if you havn't already.

my two cents

Peace

As Eek said, a fan for circulation is always a good thing to do. Just dont have a huge fan bearing down on your girls constantly and you will be fine. Gentle swaying from a fan helps a plant develop strong branches and stems kind of the way weight lifting makes humans stronger(resistance training). It might affect evaporation and humidity rates, but its good for the plants. Water them and they should spring back within a few hours. Do your pots have a runoff hole in the bottom/side? Or is it a solid container? If it has a runoff hole, water them in til you get around 5%ish run off........lets you know the soil is completely saturated.

Yep---have a fan on the top of the cabinet for a little breeze in there and pots have some holes in the bottom. I normally stop watering then I see a few drops come out the bottom. I'm starting to think I've been too conservative on the watering. More afraid of over-watering than under-watering. Important lesson learned. I'm giving them a feed tonight. Hopefully things turn around soon.

Yup they look thirsty. Great advise from all above man those are important things to have/do with indoor gardening.

Crisis averted. I watered last night with nutes and they perked right back up. I guess I'm just hypersensitive about anything going wrong at this point!
