Lighting 600w hps

Hi guys just after some advice

I have a 1mx1mx1.7m growspace I've created myself just out of timber and lined the walls with reflective material

I am going to be using a 600w lumii and a 4"extractor fan and carbon filter so will the light be too hot or should the fan draw out enough hot air to keep it pretty cool in there ??

Really depends on the temp outside the growspace. Is it indoors or in a shed like your name implies.
Im kind of a shed grower northern uk climate. Hps is hot in summer and just right in mild winter

Yeah mate in my metal shed outdoors so it's pretty cool in the space anyway so I was thinking 600w would be okay or am I being naive ?

Do you have insulation? It will prob get pretty warm in summer.
Most growers aim for 24-28oc

No insulation no . It's a metal shed then inside I have built a wooden "tent" if you will and lined inside with reflective wooden floor underlay

if the temps get out of control go get a cool tube and run your extraction through it should pull most of the heat from the room aslong as its getting vented outside

Get growing dude you'll be fine. Worst case you could get a stronger fan if it gets really hot.
Prob best running 24h light schedule in winter as temps will really drop during lights out.
Unless you live in a warm country then scrap everything ive said lol
